There are millions of people in every corner of the internet. Tik Tok nonsense discourse that blows over in a week won’t change things in the long run. Anyone on there arguing that Taylor isn’t talented enough to make work that rivals that of the other nominees is a confused clout clown who already dislikes her or hasn’t bothered to listen to Red, Folklore, Evermore, etc.

I hate that shes getting backlash because life does go on but she would've had so many other better opportunities to win over Midnights.

This 100%.  The album is full of career highlights. I have no clue how anyone is saying it is a bad record.  I still rank it as her 5th best album, but being middle of the pack in Taylor’s discography is good company.

Absolutely. Even not long after the Kimye thing - which absolutely, totally dwarfs a few Tik Tok commentators having some of the coldest takes of this still-young year - people still drove their asses to the nearest Target to buy Reputation. Sit tight, sit back, and watch her smash even with the people who say they don’t get it.

Melodrama is not alternative anything, it's as straightforward POP as it gets.

Wait there's a tumblr acc that shared snippets of TTSD with Taylor commenting on the instrumentals. I didn't listen to them, but my friend did and he said it's good, but it's synth pop and is giving Midnights
