LiamVillain Posted April 12 Posted April 12 however, as a re-recorded album, Fearless TV > RED TV >= Speak Now TV > 1989 TV

vale9001 Posted April 12 Posted April 12 (edited) the problem is for i don't know what reason her tracks 1 are almost never upon the best tracks of an album. Only tim mcgraw and state of grace are top 5 of their albums. Some of the tracks 1 are instead in some cases some of the worst tracks in the album like welcome to north korea or sadly i can't forget this song exists Edited April 12 by vale9001

First of all, sonically LH and Mastermind are some of my favorite moments on the album and there are many ways one can interpret them. But then Dear Reader comes and tells us that she is indeed miserable and we as listeners shouldn't take what she's saying at face value. Midnights is like one big puzzle and Dear Reader is the key that shows how all the previous songs have very sad undertones, especially Lavender Haze. I agree with you on Lavender Haze as a great opener. I really hate Mastermind though. Just a really bad song (I love the concept but it was poorly executed imo). But if Dear Reader were the standard closer, it would've been perfect tbh

Klein Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Now that we're past the truly horrifying song on the Red vault, let's get back to some Swiftian classic I Bet You Think About Me is one of her most scathing song and I'm living for it. And she clocked each and everyone with the second to last line in the song "Oh my God, she's insane, she wrote a song about me". Oh country Taylor the legend that you are. Hope your pettiness will never go away. 1

I'd just have a good laugh. There's really no redeeming quality to getting MIAB as a surprise song. Thank god you got RWYLM and CC after that because ultimate slays. 1
rivingtonrebel Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Just saw the track lengths "But Daddy I Love Him" made me excited to hear it
Klein Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Forever Winter is one of the best song on Red TV, I said it. It's hurts soooooo much. I've seen most people say the song is about a romantic relationship, but ever since I read somewhere that this was about her friend who she lost at the time of Speak Now release, it has broken my soul. It's sometime really hard to listen to it, because that's a very heavy song. But it's just perfectly executed, with wonderful production, excellent lyrics, and top notch melodies. That bridge brings tears into my eyes everytime. 1
Klein Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Let's run.mp3 from the next track. Who asked for this and why did she think it had a place in here? It's just boring and adds nothing. 1
LiamVillain Posted April 12 Posted April 12 but WEEEEE *jumpscare* are never ever getting back together 1
Klein Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Now THIS is the bop this vault needed. I LOVE The Very First Night. I truly think it would have had its place on the original album, especially in place of I Almost Do. It's one of the song I'd really like as one of my surprise songs. This is a much needed moment before the emotional storm that's coming.

Brooklyn Baby Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Red vault definitely has the highest highs Better Man, Nothing New, Forever Winter 1
Brooklyn Baby Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Spoiler Sparks Fly should've been the Speak Now opening track
Klein Posted April 12 Posted April 12 And we finish with the queen, the myth, the legend, ATW10. Thank you for the added content mother. We love to get a full story. No one cares if some line were penned in 2020/2021, but we do care that the production is not the same as the original. This is why I'm listening to the Sad Girl Autumn version most of the time. The outro is one of the best outro of her entire career. Wind in my hair, I was there, I was there Down the stairs, I was there, I was there Sacred prayer, I was there, I was there It was rare, you remember it all too well There's really nothing that can truly reflect my love for this. Best break up song of all time for a reason. 2
