what a way to open an album, I really have no words. I've been in love with her since it was a promo single for Sacred

Trying to promote your album as the modern Blue for a new generation whilst putting it on pizza delivery boxes.

What Joni Mitchell does has class to it, I'll say that.

the cassette sold out, the manuscript cd sold out, the bolter cd sold out. what kind of debut can we expect? :rip:

Just like I said, it was perfect timing to reveal the track lengths and send the fandom into a (love) spiral before the limited run ended. Oh Taymarketing… :ryan3:

This is a state of grace
This is the worthwhile fight
Love is a ruthless game
Unless you play it good and right
These are the hands of fate
You're my Achilles heel
This is the golden age of something good and right and real

This is kinda the best moment of her career. It's so goooooood

Getting to start the day with the Lord's best opening track is a blessing. Everything about it is just so good. The instrumentation/production is so high energy, and perfect tbh, with lyrics that can actually cut glass and top notch melodies.

There's not many songs that can brag about opening an album with such perfect depiction of what's about to come.

Spoiler

Btw how do you re-dimensioned the gifs? Because otherwise I'll keep spamming this enormous one

The four-week release countdown (Begin Again - Red - I Knew You Were Trouble - State of Grace) is one of the biggest highlights in her career. That was a MOMENT.

Red (S)... our girly just learnt about similes and decided she would make an entire song out of it. There's so much energy in this song we love to see it. Too bad it was relegated to be the song with the live video, it deserved more imo.

Having back to back State Of Grace -> Red is a blessing in itself, but it also makes me think of the countdown before the release of Red. I'm a sucker for discovering an album with no idea of what's on it, but if I had to have a pre-release rollout... this would be it. The diversity, the talent, the acclaim, the success. :jonnycat:

That time she said "love is a ruthless game unless you play it good and right" should be on her tombstone. She knows. :jonnycat:

Spoiler

These days she'd probably say "all's fair in love and poetry" or some **** because she has a new era to halfheartedly promote.

And we're not over to back to back to back masterpieces. Treacherous is just so good, an easy top 20 in her discography. That bridge is truly one of the biggest blessings of her career.

Two headlights shine through the sleepless night
And I will get you, and get you alone
Your name has echoed through my mind
And I just think you should, think you should know
That nothing safe is worth the drive
And I would follow you, follow you home
I'll follow you, follow you home

Also, before going into IKYWT, let me listen to the Treacherous demo, because what a crime that would be to miss it

Finished my Red session and hit exactly 74,600 lifetime plays.

Six days and six albums to get 400 more.

Spoiler

I'll save most of them for folkmore.

Highschool me listening to this, heart broken in bed

so many fond memories I'm reliving whenever I revisit this album. I honestly wish I could go back and live it all again.

I Knew You Were Trouble was on the very first CD I ever made for my first car in 2012, fresh out the highschool. Used to go off. Not as much in love with it today but still has great nostalgia factor.

The TV is not the version I stream, and I encourage nobody to stream it.

Kinda miss when we could gatekeep ATW a bit when it was still underrated, but I'm glad it's gotten its proper moment :clap3:

I remember it used to be my track cause nobody around me except for another swiftie I was friends with knew about it. Now 80k people are screaming the 10 minute version of it on stadiums. I'm glad people found the genius in it, but there was something special when it was a little hidden gem.

Going through some performances of IKYWT to extend the Red celebration. Miss was loving a quick change.

And also, can we talk about the slayest of all the slays regarding this song?

I gatekeep every Taylor Swift song. Nobody else has ever heard any of them before. I don't even know why yall are here, talking about an artist whose work you've never heard before. It pays to be delusional sometimes.
