Like, I became a fan/stan in the Fearless era, so the sparkly guitar and heart hands have really always been kind of everything to me. 
 

However, the 1989 tour was the first time I saw her live, and I think that's the other thing that really defines her as an artist to each person—the first time you actually saw her (if you've seen her live). So I also always see her in the little sparkly bomber jacket and skirt with her hair in a bob. 
 

And I'll try to keep this brief—I could literally write an entire essay on this nnn—but I also think that's why the opening look for Eras will go down as one of THE most ubiquitous Taylor looks of all time, and that's not at all by accident. The Eras Lover look truly does encapsulate Taylor then and Taylor now; she's sparkly and playing the acoustic guitar like in the beginning, but the leotard and sleek hair are very much grown, iconic pop star. It's very fitting as the opener for a tour that is designed to celebrate every era of her career (RIP Debut). It also very much felt that way when I saw Eras.

I fully agree. The second image that comes to mind for me when I think of her is literally that exact look, specifically the shot in the movie poster. She 100% knew what she was doing with that look and I think it's going to be the look that the GP associates most with her name in the future.

You're absolutely right. For millions and millions of people, the sparkly pink bodysuit and the acoustic guitar is THE™ image of Taylor. They use it on top of basically every article about her, and when they talk about her on TV it's the lead photo. It's a ubiquitous and instantly iconic look. Someone should make a gaycat for it (also, whatever happened to that Look What You Made Me Do gaycat nnn?)

The funny thing here being that the pic in the poster was from the less good Lover bodysuit and they literally changed the colors in the edit to match the famous pink one 

 

Except for one small spot by her right collarbone that they ****** up and left untouched and it sticks out to me every time I see it
