Sooo… I just found out our friend Sweetenertea was describing IA "leaks" this whole time
:suburban:

She described Who's Afraid Of Little Old Me like this: "Who's afraid lyrics stand out the most tbh. Very relatable and sad. She blames herself for the ending of a relationship, feels left in the dark of what went wrong and how she hurt him. Asking what she did to have him leave.”

Now tell me why there's a TikTok IA that sounds exactly like that description: https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMMxmES25/

Also, I just realized Wrapped Around Your Finger by Post Malone (the song she said sounds like Fortnight) sounds extremely similar to a certain "never made it clear, never made it right"

love and hip hop help GIF by VH1

either she lied or the ai leaks are real… :ninja:

There's something about her dark and deep rasp at the end mixed with the drone of the outro that just compels me to hit that go-back button most times I listen

Maybe tomorrow I will listen to Red (Achilles's Version) instead of wasting 2h10m on the full epic.

I initiated my all songs playlist on shuffle. Maroon started playing and I'm repeating it for the 3rd time. It's so captivating. The bridge so simple yet so effective. The line "the rust that grew between telephones" right before "the lips I used to call home". Oh ATRL user Dear Reader, what are you doing on the floor?

I will say the similarities between 'Never made it clear, never made it right' and Wrapped Around Your Finger were suspicious even then

And innocent is a great song about forgiveness … although I suspect when she wrote it her thought process was "oh! This will make me look like SUCH the bigger person"

It is a good song I just can't unhear the Kanye context most days I listen :rip:

Hm, currently thinking Mariracle or Miracleoon or some spelling variation thereof, but I'm not sold. Mary Magdaloon? It doesn't seem obvious what it's referring to... Mosesoon? Maroses?

Thots, girlinas?
