It's Speak Now fanfiction at best! It could never be her. I get more Red bonus track energy from it tbh. 2
PoisonedIvy Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Jesus Christ Superman, thank you for your service. The album needed something decent to remind us of how amazing everything else was.

vale9001 Posted April 11 Posted April 11 (edited) Mine Is a good opener for speak now. The Song is build like love story but while love story was very fairytale this is about a love story between real adults and It's complicated cause life It's complicated. So It describes well like speak now is not an album about fairytales and princesess (so makes clear from track 1 this is not fearless!) but about the pain, problems and delusions you discover life is made when you grow up. Sparks fly is too much fearless (i see Sparks fly whenever you smile ... It's a good song but very not speak now thematically. It was written infact for fearless). If the idea of the Song is good the content could have been Better. You can feel it's a Song where She talks about things She still don't know very well (living with a man, buying an house with him, making a child) and are imagination more than real things. I bet now She also thinks It's cute but at little bit goofy and too much "young person tries to act like an adult". Edited April 11 by vale9001
Klein Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Foolish One as the opening track of Speak Now OG would have been the collapse of all collapse
Great Username Posted April 11 Posted April 11 (edited) I Can Fix Him the cringe trying-to-be-camp sing from this ablum ugh. The fact that it follows the best sing on the album as well, delete it delete it. My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys the other cringe flop of the ablum, please delete so many people are asking you to delete, it's triggering for so many people I Can Do It With A Broken Heart rounding out the bottom 3, I don't want moments of hope and levity on my depression ablum Edited April 11 by Great Username 1

YellowRibbon Posted April 11 Posted April 11 I Can See You should've been a multi week smash across the globe. The "Ah ah ah ah"s are so catchy 1

The way that I said back in 2018 that Ours thematically belonged in the setlist of the reputation Tour……….. and then I got it as my surprise song. My powers of manifestion were never stronger. Spoiler Conversely, my efforts to unmanifest Should've Said No for the Eras Tour backfired. I spent weeks praying for her to do it at a preceding show because I knew that she'd do it at mine if it weren't already crossed off the list. And sure enough, I got Should've Said No. I love the song to death, but it was already my Red Tour surprise song so I wanted something new. But I didn't really mind. Because it meant I actually got a debut song at the Eras Tour, and it was one of the songs that made me a stan, and having already gotten it in the past meant that I had a special connection with it Still a manifestation FAIL, though.

Maybe the YBWM gloves serve or the iconic WANEGBT circus ringleader

PoisonedIvy Posted April 11 Posted April 11 When Elton John Inspired A Subgenre of Songwriting is cute or whatever, not much else to say. The melody is cute but of course it is, it's already a classic called Drops of Jupiter
