It's a solid album but stands like the album imo is less recognizable. The country pop is better on fearless with the two timeless classics (love story and YBWTM), the shady country ballads- pop rock songs or break up songs were made in the next albums with songs are better. It's like a bridge between the teen taylor and the mature and now feels like transitory and less interesting than in 2010. It's not a case at the time it was taylor most acclaimed album, now in the retrospective was the less acclaimed TV. It's a good album, personally i like like 10-11 songs of 14 but now debut apart is the album gives you less to talk about ....a good album but feels transitory and less important. i think this undersells preach now! thematically, i think it's one of the more remarkable pieces of art about the transition from adolescence to adulthood. to me, it truly is her Coming of Age album. its status as a "transitory" album is one of the things i find most fascinating about it. the thorny, weird, melodramatic qualities feel very true to the experience of being 19/20. i think it is such a compelling portrait of who Taylor Swift the narrator is. she presents a character who is full of contradictions - she's forgiving yet vindictive, romantic yet cynical, confident yet unsure. i guess different strokes for different folks, but for me after 14 years preach now is still endlessly fascinating and compelling! 4

I wouldn't want to share that feeling with people who don't even know her.
EndofASadMovie Posted April 11 Posted April 11 (edited) Let me redownload Tiktok chile. I deleted it when less swifttok appeared on my fyp (thanks UMG) I only used it for Taylor. This better be real Edited April 11 by EndofASadMovie
Dear Reader Posted April 11 Posted April 11 They probably made a deal with TikTok cause they want her to have the new songs there smart move
omrimayo Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Shocked about the TT situation! She's the only one? Or the whole UMG returned?
Magickarp Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Kinda confirms that the single is definitely poppy & catchy, no? None of that Cardigan / ATW10 stuff. Or maybe she'll drop the Fortnight hit song first, then follow with another MV a few days later for the critical darling of the album? Anti-Hero & Bejweled were like 3 days apart. 1
chiliam Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Tis the damn season rise. This is just the beginnning. Come and take your spot as the next holiday classic 2

omrimayo Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Checked, no other UMG music has returned! TT broke down for the queen tsunami!!!

She didn't start releasing stinkers until 19Katy9's opening track. I'm afraid we also count bonus tracks in this house, but yes, on a regular day, SacRed (standard) is perfect. 1

Girl, Cardigan and ATW10 are mega tik tok smash. I must say tik tok brought 70% the stream for that 10 mins songs
SLUTTVFTV Posted April 11 Posted April 11 UMG was afraid of the tayvoodoo as they should tho, she works in powerful ways
