The TV goes so hard. In contrast, it takes everything in me to not find a way to permanently replace Sparks Fly TV with Sparks Fly OG.

I have the Speak Now Tour version in my playlist of the album (my patchwork of OG, live, and TV). Sparks Fly TV is not bad, but it is not Sparks Fly OG, which itself isn't Sparks Fly Live at the Speak Now Tour. 1

It sucks Best believe I'll be the most annoying baguette tomorrow. Red is MY album, my first heart break album. I'll be all over this thread tomorrow after work 2
Achilles. Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Preach Now easily has the best overall vault so far. All of the songs actually fit the era (1989 cannot relate), there are no duds (unlike the 3 others), and none of the tracks feel like flop leftovers—just more great songs that didn't make the cut because there were already too many other great songs. Every vault should have been this good. 1
PoisonedIvy Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Preach Now was truly sowing the seeds that would grow into my stanhood by State of Grace's release. When I heard Last Kiss my mind was opened to the depths of which a heart could break. Oh Lord the empath that you are. 1

You know it's Speak Now day so I won't do too much, but apart from the 2 duds in the Red vault, everything else is just so amazing that I don't share the sentiment. Speak Now vault is a really close second though, and eclipses the other two vaults EASILY even if you removed Foolish One.
PoisonedIvy Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Her covering other artists songs acoustically on B stage throughout the Preach Now Crusades was my favorite tour gimmick to date so far.
Brooklyn Baby Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Speak Now TV vaults are all solid while Red TV has duds like Message in a Bottle.
Klein Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Back To December is one of her best bridges ever. It's really a perfect no notes song.
Dear Reader Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Foolish One really is one of the best Vault Tracks and it describes me perfectly 3 1 1
Klein Posted April 11 Posted April 11 I miss your tan skin, your sweet smile So good to me, so right And how you held me in your arms that September night The first time you ever saw me cry Maybe this is wishful thinkin' Probably mindless dreamin' But if we loved again, I swear I'd love you right I'd go back in time and change it, but I can't So if the chain is on your door, I understand The "chain is on your door" metaphor is one of my favorite she's ever come up with. Will we see something that good on TTPD? One can only hope. 5
Klein Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Speak Now the song is just silly. But I can't help but be entertained

PoisonedIvy Posted April 11 Posted April 11 (edited) I love the last chorus of Foolish One when she drops to her lower register and just kind of states it at you one final time. She's like "just in case you didn't catch this the first six times, let me put it bluntly:” Edited April 11 by PoisonedIvy 3
Klein Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Oh Dear John, what can we say about you that hasn't already been told before? 1

We can always get into the conspiracy that it's a red herring and the song is actually "Dear (Martin) John(son)” and we've spent 14 years trying to kill the wrong man.
Dear Reader Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Perfect day to tell you that every single time I visit a Fnac store around here I go to the John M*yer section and there's ALWAYS a Speak Now CD there. And I promise it's not me
Klein Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Fun fact about my life before I was a Swiftie: In 2010, I had no idea who this girlie was. I discovered her existence on a forum, where a Swiftie said in the Rihanna thread that Taylor would block Loud from #1 with Speak Now. I was like "Speak What? Taylor Who?". So I digged a little, and the fans were saying Taylor's best song was Enchanted at the time. I listened to it, LOVED it, but never listened to Taylor again for a while out of spite because I was mad she was going to block LOUD. The next anecdote about my life before I was a Swiftie tomorrow, on Red's day 7
folkloreking Posted April 11 Posted April 11 The way she split the themes of Timeless into two lesser songs for Lover with the title track and AOTG is such a kii. Unmatched hymn, that last "on a crowded street in 19-fourty-fouuur"... 2
