My fear now as I said several times is could be like just a "pop folklore", which means like a semplicistic or reductive folklore. Cause the insider words really suggest this if you read between the lines.

This is horrible marketing decision. A first song as lead single. She literally killed streaming numbers of the album. I am devastated by all these news. 4
1989 Posted April 9 Posted April 9 Y'all aren't going to like hearing this, but Midnights is a great pop album and the hate is gets on ATRL is honestly weird. There were ultimately 23 songs from the era (I'm counting both versions of SOTB as one because the song itself never changed), and I only actively dislike/skip 3 or sometimes 4 of them. The Midnights hate is tired at this point. It's a great record. 9 2 2
