I actually find Midnights to be better than 1989. Midnights > 1989 >>> rep >>>>>>>Loser

Oh exactly, except when the Reputationators annoy me it slips below Lover for a few days:ryan3:

An accurate depiction of me uncovering the layers and finding appreciation for Midnights:

I mean yeah, my appreciation for Midnights has grown so much in the 18 months since it's been out. It was always my favorite pop album, but none of us fully appreciated it for the first year after its release. Now that it's all clicking and fitting together... it's excellence. Just because Jack is an easy target and some girls are incapable of an original thought doesn't make Midnights a bad album :khalyan2:

Why y'all always forgetting about the greatness that is Glitch :jonny2: She lowkey eats lo-fi

Glitch is perfect as a soundtrack for the end of a summer love, it's also very relaxing  🫶🏻

Swifties moved from base to here

It always happens whenever new thread is opened in music section

Base is not liked here

also, can we give her a moment of appreciation? It's such a light and fun pop song and aside from the clunky shade lyric, it's very fun to sing along to.

That bridge is one of the best of her career, Paris is so underrated

She did say on Singapore N6 during the folklore section that "1989, reputation" were her favourite albums because it's what she stepped out of comfort zone.

The biggest difference between Taylor's variants and the other artists' variants are that at least Taylor's are always interesting. Wether it's a different cover, different pictures, the clock gimmick, the bonus track. The other artists just splash the same cover across these different Vinyl colors and call it a day.

At least, for me, Taylor makes buying a different vinyl of the same album exciting. For other artists I just pick my favorite and that's it.

I mean, just look at the material :jonny5:

Even if it's the same commercial tactic at its core that other artists use, I will never be mad at Taylor because she gives a reason to want to buy each. Variants where the covers are all the same and it's just the discs that are different colors are so ******* lazy, I'm sorry. That's a real cash grab.

Eh, I guess we have nothing better to do :suburban:

I'm waiting for the eclipse, so I'm kinda incapable of being productive until that happens :suburban:

Which tier will TTPD belong to?

Tier 1: Legendary mega-classics:

- Fearless

- 1989

- folklore

Tier 2: Smash hit albums

- Red

- Lover

- Midnights

Tier 3: Underrated cult-classics

- Speak Now

- Reputation

- evermore

Tier 4: Flops

- Debut

If we go by their order of release, TTPD seems destined to belong in tier 1:celestial5:
