vale9001 Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Night shows are so boring and no One watches them. Even snl now. Something on platforms stay there permanently is the best thing. 1
Magickarp Posted April 6 Posted April 6 She should do something like this if she really wants to have control of the questions. She gets to direct & act too!

Casuals still watch them though. That's the audience you're targetting with that type of promo, not stans. I disagree about SNL, there have been many episodes this season that sparked conversations on the internet. Even her short cameo with Travis was a MOMENT.
vale9001 Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Anyways Is just me or last night tweet doesn't appear on her TL, but only on her "answers"? Also to maximize the views It was tweeted in a such wrong time. It was full night in Europe and evening in the US. To maximize the views the better time is morning in america and early afternoon in Europe.

Saves money, time, & potential backlash, while maintaining interest in the album. It's less fun, but we all know what capitaylist, & climate taylorist has always been about. Yuh AM exposed her Exactly, that's why she doesn't do too much promo or interviews anymore. Do you remember the essays about her Time POTY interview?
JawBreaker Posted April 6 Posted April 6 I don't want no Zane Lowe, Zach Lane(eww) or Hot Ones Im sure she could think of something more interesting. Something involving the fans tbh

YellowRibbon Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Just realized that the Midnights photoshoot makes more sense now... She was contemplating breaking up definitely with a guy she'd been dating for 6 years and thought was the one for her... She let her subconsciousness take the lead on that one.

Nothing makes easier for people to forget you in the long (not that long) term you when you're not divisive. Edited April 6 by vale9001
folkloreking Posted April 6 Posted April 6 So glad I'm a normal, Tay-centric type of parasocial person as a Real SwiftieTM should be. Because what is this fanfic? 6

Artists don't so night shows for the TV-watching audience these days. They do it for the clips that will be shared endlessly on social media afterwards. A Taylor interview would still reach millions and be great promo for that reason.
Solaria Posted April 6 Posted April 6 TS12 really should be her dance album. If the rock rumors are true she can finally please the Swifties after all these years. Next album please the gays again! Plus it's probably mostly happy songs about Travis. Perfect in time for her to dive into post-disco 1
Klein Posted April 6 Posted April 6 (edited) The playlists are really interesting to link the bonus track to the various stages of grief. "I love you, it's ruining my life" is the lyrics on the first playlist about denial. The bonus track on that variant is The Manuscript. I couldn't really tell what this song would be about, but if it's associated with denial, then maybe it's going to be about how she created a story, a fantasy in her head that everything was alright in their relationship. "You don't get to tell me about sad" is anger, and the song is The Bolter. Pretty easy to imagine this one being tied to anger. I'm sure she wasn't the most pleased that he was trying at all cost to avoid any scrutiny on their relationship, even just walking out of a building and into a car. "Am I allowed to cry?" is bargaining, the song is The Albatross. Back to Baudelaire's poem 'L'albatros', it is a poem about the place of the artist (in his case the poet) in society and how it is viewed. Maybe she'll explore the idea of how she navigated her fame to accomodate Joe's wishes. "Old habits die screaming" is depression and associated to The Black Dog. It's been already discussed at length that the imagery of the black dog is used to talk about depression. Really getting excited for the album. I'm trying to contain it considering we're still a whole fortnight.mp3 away from the release, but damn, I'm struggling. Edited April 6 by Klein 8
