vale9001 Posted April 6 Posted April 6 I love how some people starts to troll about a tweet getting not that much likes and then always arrive that One person really thinks is a serious thing

She's changing the narrative Instead of going from rep to Lover, it's going to go from Lover 2.0 to rep TV. "I need to make a better record" indeed. September 2024. 4

TROPICUM Posted April 6 Posted April 6 the way her version of flopping would still be the biggest debut of the year i know we're on our "it's gonna tank" era but that's just commendable

Magickarp Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Lover was truly an era. She went all in with her "activism" after she escaped Scott. Parading her "I love gays & blacks" token friend Todrick around all those award shows despite what a fake rat he obv was even back then Setting women back 10 years, & proving women can't direct MV's with The Man And ofc we have Only The Young too Narsty woman 1
AnitaFalafel Posted April 6 Posted April 6 .... y'know I liked it better when we were doing rankings 1

We can't deny that the competition is in all time high 😬

Kern Posted April 6 Posted April 6 This thread… Yeah, Lover was really her Witness era yet it was so successful and there was actually good music… so in a way I don't really know what does it make it Witness. Maybe decision to go lowkey political, everything related to that was a mess
Kern Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Btw. Since the stages of grief theory is true does that mean that Nostradamus twitter user is actually a real insider? because we clocked his tea a lot… maybe he is actually right about other stuff like the music videos and SNL
ATRL Moderator bluebirdsforever Posted April 6 ATRL Moderator Posted April 6 Tbh I think it’s just time we all accept that the era of the traditional four-quadrant album rollout is pretty much completely dead - even the artists who were keeping it alive have reverted back to something a lot more lowkey. I also don’t really think it’s in Taylor’s best interests to go overboard with promotion right now. She’s pretty much been non-stop promoting and on every screen imaginable for the past year and a half, she’s likely correctly deduced that giving people a break before the album drops is better in the long run. She’ll start a bigger promotional rollout in the days leading up to the album (ala Ariana with Eternal Sunshine) and then continue pushing it with the tour / music videos (ala Midnights) - I just don’t think it’s realistic to expect anything more at this point. 5 1

Wasn't if confirmed that she made these "stages of grief" playlists 'cause she saw fan's theory and liked it? Moreover, it's fans who started this, not Nostraflopus 1
Maroon legacy Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Nostraflopus when she release 2nd MV for this era, just like he said (totally unpredictable, for sure): 4
ATRL Moderator bluebirdsforever Posted April 6 ATRL Moderator Posted April 6 Also screaming at how even she can't keep the formatting of the title straight, is it The Tortured Poets Department or THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT good sis If you're going to YELL AT ME at least keep it consistent 1

Or someone spilled tea and he copy pasted
Magickarp Posted April 6 Posted April 6 It's unfortunate, but for someone of her caliber, no promo is better than promo. Saves money, time, & potential backlash, while maintaining interest in the album. It's less fun, but we all know what capitaylist, & climate taylorist has always been about. 24 minutes ago, stupidjock said: I don't know, was it? That's why I'm asking.
