We pray it shall not be. The glitter gel pen reign of terror needs to end. Put it in the landfill, Pollutlor!

I mean, there's obviously a song or two that'll be coming from the glitter gel pen.

My guess is on Fresh Out The Slammer and Florida!!!

Safe & Sound should be included in acceptance idc.

And Sad Beautiful Tragic in depression ffs. Someone should get in contact with her. She forgot her two best songs ever. :deadbanana2:

When we heard it first - Denial

When it missed the #1 - Anger

Finding out she removed "Hey kids, spelling is fun!" on the album version - Bargaining

Knowing it will be a part of her discography forever - Depression

Knowing it will forever be her worst song - Acceptance

The best part of joining the fandom post-evermore is that I never had to pretend to care or like this song. :suburban:

She went through all 5 of them with that one:

Denial - in denial about how awful the song was

Anger - angry about the lackluster reception to reputation

Bargaining - "I'll write you a bad pop single if it'll get me radio support again!”

Depression - depressed about losing ownership of her life's work

Acceptance - when faced with the choice between holding to her past or betting on her future, she chose the latter—“I believe in ME!”

The playlist being about grief. Imagine an album full of Bigger Than The Whole Sky,The Great War and Would've Could've Should've. She's coming to finish me off I'm afraid :jonnycat:

More than that, to me not wanting glitter gel pen songs means you either don't understand or don't like who Taylor is as an artist and a person. They are an integral and essential part of her artistry.

Honey most of the worst songs of her career were in that glitter gel pen playlist. You Belong With Me and Hey Stephen being included doesn't change the fact that they are by far the low point of her artistic output.
