Monster Queen Posted April 5 Posted April 5 I want this album sound exactly like lover Her best pop album 3 2 3 1 1
idkwiam Posted April 5 Posted April 5 (edited) We need the sister songs of CHAMPAGNE PROBLEMS on TTPD omg. Such a GODLY SONG Spoiler Your Midas touch on the Chevy door November flush and your flannel cure "This dorm was once a madhouse" I made a joke, "Well, it's made for me" How evergreen, our group of friends Don't think we'll say that word again And soon they'll have the nerve to deck the halls That we once walked through One for the money, two for the show I never was ready, so I watch you go Sometimes you just don't know the answer 'Til someone's on their knees and asks you "She would've made such a lovely bride What a shame she's ****** in the head, " they said But you'll find the real thing instead She'll patch up your tapestry that I shred Edited April 5 by idkwiam 8

Nein Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Just read the couple of last pages. There are a lot of incredibly hot takes. Do not put that kind of energy out into the world like that.
TROPICUM Posted April 5 Posted April 5 all that dreaming and visions when we find out it's full of spoken word interludes and there are only 10/11 actual songs (that resemble MIDnights)
Prismee Posted April 5 Posted April 5 i have a feeling Clara Bowery will be her best song come April 19

vale9001 Posted April 5 Posted April 5 loser is a better album then puta of course but as hater than both i have to admit at least puta was something new, loser is a such a compilation of "things i have already done in the past". But loser has 2 songs are gonna be absolute classics in her catalogue (lover and cruel summer), puta is just puta. Loser bigger problem are the atrocius pop singles. Puta singles are dull but no one of them is atrocius like the Man, expect for LWYMMD chorus that it's near to serve Stupid hoe "quality". 2
queenoftheclouds Posted April 5 Posted April 5 I Had a dream that a New producer who she worked with for Rep TV l-worded it because she sat on the whole Thing for years.

No, don't do it. I saw a video of her attempting to cover Love Story, and she barely knew the lyrics, embarrassing

Lily and Rose 6. Sophie and The Gang 6. Sophie And The Gang: Charli XCX produced this track, in remembrance of her friend and collaborator, SOPHIE. The tribute to SOPHIE is cute but Charli messed up the production on this one. I also do not enjoy it when Charli takes the mic at the end of the track and repeats GANG GANG GANG over and over again. 5. Lily and Rose: I thought this was going to be about Lily-Rose Depp, but imagine my disappointment when I learn that it's about all the flowers Joe and Taylor planted in their rooftop garden. Some well written lines, ex: "Hot summer lilac, where did you go", but honestly a very forgettable track. 4. Gaslighter: It turns out this is a cover of The Chicks song "Gaslighter", which Jack Antonoff produced. Funnily enough, Jack Antonoff also produced this cover, but he gave it an interesting Glitch Pop spin for TTPD. Nothing to say about this one, Tay's delivery is a bit more angry than the Chick's version. 3. Rhodeo Haven: An country track reflecting upon Taylor's debut album. Nathan Chapman returned for this song, he produced it flawlessly, sounds like a Debut Vault Track. Some interesting lyrics here, ex: "Should've kept the homophobic part in my song, should've know those twinks would turn on me" 2. Loveless: A devastating song, interpolating "Fearless" from her second album. The lyric "You dropped my hand and left me weeping, loveless" is a stab to the heart, was not expecting that. The only flop thing here is the Midnights production. 1. Tonight We Cross Kern/Killer Kern: Finally, we get to the best song on the 5am edition, Tonight We Cross KKK. Such an interesting track sonically, Aaron Dessner produced. First part is an Irish Folk Dance, and then "Killer Kern" starts and it transitions into a sexy trap beat. A perfect track to play if you are ever crossing a kern. Overall, I would say these should've been left on the cutting room floor, but I'm glad they exist! A very eclectic mix, for sure. 14
