IIRC one of her albums releases we learnt that her albums were shipped in a locked box.

I think only the store managers have the key?

not only for her, it's kinda common now. Not only they are in a box with a code to open them sent only a couple of days before but also all the box are numerated (it's basically the same system someone sells lottery tickets can't "stole" them). The reason lately all the albums basically leak only 24 hours or even less before the release.

I think it might have been discussed here before but yall think she will add a new 'era' for the tour or she gonna squeeze in the new tracks in the acoustic section?

i don't think only in the acoustin section. I mean that was kinda acceptable for all the folkmore- evermore tracks are kinda acoustic in the original version or for old songs she has already performed. But whatever the album is (and i don't think it's a copy of folklore or evermore sound) you can't make all of them just acoustic. Imagine if she has songs on european radios from the album, people want to listen them in something similar to the record...i mean of course anti hero, lavander haze, bejeweled and karma are all in the midnights set. You can't perform a song like karma is a pop song on the radios, in the same months you're touring, in acoustic the first time you perform it.

knowing her btw we probably gonna get lover set transition to TTPD. She will delete the archer to go from loveeer to some shady songs about toe :ryan3:

her team is pretty quite this time
they haven't sent anything to marketing teams of UMG :monkey:

When I was 16 I worked at Best Buy (technology & retail for anyone unfamiliar). Albums still came out on Tuesdays, and we'd usually get them one week before so we could keep them in our storage rooms. Which means they'd probably "ship" from their manufacturer 2 weeks early, since it would take about a week by truck to arrive from whatever northern processing plant they were coming from. An initial shipment 15 days in advance sounds standard imo, but the chicken shouldn't escape the oven any time soon

Just want her to make a post saying "we're nearly a Fornight.mp3 away from TTPD, are you excited?" :jonny:

I know I've mostly been **** posting in this thread so far, but I honestly don't think we're getting anything until next week. And to clarify, 'anything' just means promo, obviously we're not getting any music before the 19th (y'all have to give that up, it's been years).

Spoiler

And not the "MiDnIgHtS wAs A dIsSaPoInTmEnT" discourse a few pages back again. Literally just shut up. :skull:

yeah I agree with you. I think that we are finally reaching a bit of over exposure (which is wild because it really took a lot longer than expected). The issue is that this hype will continue on until ALL the re recordings are complete which can look like end of 2025 or 2026....and then there's the tour possibly being extended and then there's her directing a movie and stuff lol. It feels like this level of hype will continue at least another 3 years which is great for us as fans but it does worry me that she may be entering a bit of overexposure officially. While I know MANY fans have become skeptical of the idea of over exposure with Taylor I do think that it's still a thing...it's just the bandwith with the GP has expanded when it comes to her because she is an overall unproblematic and beloved queen to much of the GP BUT even they are starting to be a little tilted now. I do hope that once the eras tour is done and the re recordings are over that she takes a solid year or two gap of just writing for the movie she will be directing....she deserves a bit of "off time" if we can count writing a script as off time LOL

I totally agree! I know Taylor is on a creative high and that's awesome and she seems genuinely happy, but the issue with being a public figure is that you CAN be too in people's faces and, without a break or a bit of mystery, make them grow tired of you.

Obviously no matter what she'll sell record numbers of albums and continue to be #1 in music, but it might at SOME point help her a bit to pull back and create more mystery/intrigue.

Like *imagine* if people were even given time to miss her and wonder and speculate for like....3-5 months. The "comeback" would be legendary and I think the public would be re-ignited.

Personally, i would prefer if she kept creating at whatever pace she feels like doing. Yes sure, building anticipation would be great for her public reception and all, I 100% agree. It's just that personally, I don't care at all how the GP (and even her fans to some extent) perceive her. I really like that she's not overthinking everything and is just constantly writing music. I like to see the unfiltered version of her artistry. We're seeing her development as an artist, and even simply as a person, in real time and I just love it so much.

True. I feel spoiled that we get so much output from a single artist.

There is no over-exposure. Stop the delusional, I can't believe people are still believing this ****. GP will forget everything she has done once she disappears for two months, just like nobody still remembers she "disrespected" Celine Dion on Grammy 2024.

Yall could never make me even pretend to care about her releasing music too fast. The Beatles fans ATE in the 60s and we're eating this decade. It's the kind of work ethic that legends are made of.

I'm behind you on this. Over-exposure is just a stan-twitter/internet term. I swear nobody cares if she's everywhere or not.
