I think a lot of people in this base could benefit from focusing more on the things that they love, not the things they hate, not the things that they're afraid of, they're afraid of, or the things that haunt them in the middle of the night. I, I just think that. You are what you love.

so it goes production is in the vocabulary at the voice:  univentive souless edm production. The only explaination for MM giving her this .rap she was team in 2016

the fact even during the eras tour she was constantly viral for being dragged for her performance in the rep set. Her trying to bad the bad ***** on the most trite edm - hip hop influenced tracks someone can imagine will allway be the "do you really pay for this?" haunt us:ihype:

the way Oscar Görres repurposed this production for So It Goes... :deadbanana2:

Hold up. Not her saying she doesn't want to be known for the things that haunt her in the middle of the night only to release an album whose concept is things that haunt her in the middle of the night :bibliahh:

Yeah the Daylight (the alt. 2019 album) -> Midnights relationship needs to be analyzed :deadbanana4:

Naming Lover "Daylight" would've honestly been a slay since it's viewed as her in love album and Midnights shows the cracks in their relationship… sis just missed the train with that one

I know that End Game is hated generally (I personally love it) but Don't Blame Me and So It Goes... are epic

So It Goes is under-appreciated but it's still the most forgettable song on that album (for me at least).

I do love her adlibs on the final chorus - she went off there.

I get I'm in the minority but… (unpopular opinion incoming) Don't Blame Me will forever be her Take Me To Church ripoff with a dated dubstep beat and boring metaphors about how love is a drug etc… just feels lazy for someone with her penmanship, our girl can do better.

i always thought of So It Goes… as something that would've better suited Selena Gomez during that time. the whispery vocals are so her.

I love Don't Blame Me. I can definitely see the similarities to Take Me To Church. I wonder if she was inspired by it.

Maybe she should pay 50% royalties for the viral hit DBM to Hozier then?

Reminds me of that poem she made about being Gone Girl'd, how did it go again? Something about : "why she disappeared? she was gone..." or something like that

Npmgsop.gif

Why She Dissapeared is a good poem actually. It was even used as an interlude in Rep Tour :giraffe:
