Taylor Swift - 'THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT'

Not the album rankings again :ryan3:
I have no doubts that lyrically this will be one of her best albums, the true problem will be the productions...  lets just hope that Taylor deleted all the synths from Hack's computer and he serves something more indie-rock like I Can See You :ryan3:

Spoiler

I'm still convinced that the 19Katy9 vault sounds like MID because 1939 (TV) was recorded while she worked on MID
Hopefully the same is the case with I Can See You <-> TTPD :ryan3:

I'm praying he didn't make this album the same time he made the Bleachers LP.

so it goes production is in the vocabulary at the voice:  univentive souless edm production. The only explaination for MM giving her this .rap she was team in 2016

the fact even during the eras tour she was constantly viral for being dragged for her performance in the rep set. Her trying to bad the bad ***** on the most trite edm - hip hop influenced tracks someone can imagine will allway be the "do you really pay for this?" haunt us:ihype:

SPLENDID ranking. A few switches compared to mine but never between two albums that are in complete different realms of quality in my eyes :clap3:

And really my taste breaks down into like

evermore

Speak Now/Red (Red standard is

better but the Speak Now vault devours, it's true it's true)

Mid/Fearless (if I'm feeling lyrics or melodies)

1989

Debut

Lover/Reputation (depending on which race to the bottom album I'm enjoying more and whether the Reputationators have been on my nerves)

That's too much to ask for when you're praising discography-low offenses to good taste right in front of me :ryan3:

If she doesn't give us any crumbs this week, we probably won't get anything until April 5th after Bey's release week is over. :celestial5:

Do we think The Tortured PoHITS Department will occupy the entire top 10 again?

Kinda wild that anything less than a repeat of that once-in-a-lifetime achievement along with opening under 2 million will be seen as underwhelming :clack:

Let's rank the variant covers instead

IMG_4782.thumb.gif.800d18a3788945d4d51a9

Albatross > The Black Dog > Manuscript > Bolter.

All clears though.

I think a lot of people in this base could benefit from focusing more on the things that they love, not the things they hate, not the things that they're afraid of, they're afraid of, or the things that haunt them in the middle of the night. I, I just think that. You are what you love.

Reminds me of that poem she made about being Gone Girl'd, how did it go again? Something about : "why she disappeared? she was gone..." or something like that
