State of Grace in most people's top 3 - just as god intended I see

Posted

I feel like this was already set to do way more than Midnights (204k) in the UK, so with the tickets scheme… :celestial5:

Spoiler

The #10 biggest debut of all time in the UK is around 383k, and I quite honestly thought she might get to 300k even before this tactic. Wonder if it could propel her past that threshold. I mean, she got a song to sell 330K in one week when she did this for the U.S. presale. The absolute GAG if she could sneak inside the top 10:celestial5:

Can y'all please stop pretending that Lavender Haze is one of her best openers? It's not the Midnights era anymore, we don't have to **** with the OMidnightsH anymore :deadbanana4:

I also predict Fortnight to be the worst song on the album, but I'm sure it'll still be good.

And yeah my expectations for this album are high, what can I say

Except she didn't ever actually do this for the Anti-Hero remixes, the fans just kinda thought she would :deadbanana4:

Tens of thousands of cupcakes were buying bad remixes of Anti-Hero (except for the Roosevelt one, which hits hard) because they thought they were boosting their chances for floor seats, when in reality all they were doing was fueling Taylor's fantasies of leaving a steaming pile of **** all over her former top "rival" in the 2010s as she left him in the dust

I don't really like midnights mvs especially bejeweled..... ik music videos mean nothing anymore but this era needs to be poetic! i hope she put some effort on that mvs..

I need at least 4 videos similar to cardigan, willow, ikywt, and ootw videos. music videos used to be my favorite thing about new eras and they're still among some of my favorite things about new albums.

Any ranking with Fortnight not in the B3 is grounded in stan hype & delusion, not reality

:ryan3:

Y'all never like her male collabs, sans Folkmore. And y'all are most DEFINITELY not going to suddenly stan a Post Malone song of all things. Please.

:ryan3:

Less than 2 hours till it drops anyways, so get ready to pretend u stan it just like ME!.

Also I don't get the hype for Lavender Haze, it's a decent song but there are so many better songs on Midnights.

I was left disappointed and unimpressed the first time that I listened to it, but then Maroon came and changed the chemistry of my brain :jonny5:

I remember the day I was listening to evermore for the first time (basically the day it was released) and I was 5 tracks in and already knew that she had outdone folklore (which was not an easy feat) :jonny5:

This checks out because tolerate it is much better than my tears ricochet :nicole:

I refuse to rank Fortnight yet cause I'm sure it will serve either exile/coney island or IDWLF :toofunny2:

Is it really dropping at midnight?!

The fact there's still amazing songs like Should've Said No, Untouchable, Forever & Always, Ours, Foolish One, Timeless, exile, illicit affairs, invisible string, happiness, tis the damn season, marjorie, Maroon, Glitch… that don't make my top 60 :deadbanana4: I swear she has at LEAST 100 songs I'd define as great songs.

Mine aged like milk. It wanted to be a copy of love story so much and It failed. I think Taylor really don't like to perform the Song too. With the exclusion of of Tim McGraw and Me! for obvious reasons is the First single She pays dust more. While despite mixed to poorly early reactions to LWYMMD she seems to believe in the song like **** you i think it's good.
