enchanted0 Posted March 20 Posted March 20 As much as it's annoying to talk about other surprises when there's a brand new album right there, but I feel like there will be one more unhinged thing waiting for us.. I wonder what would it be (not rep tv that's for sure) 5

kayliah Posted March 20 Posted March 20 I need the album to be her best work but also have some some bangers, great singles and be cohesive and innovative. I dont need another folklore or evermore. 1
Safe&Sound Posted March 20 Posted March 20 hoax is a masterpiece I hope there's a song like that in TTPD 5

I Can Do It With a Broken Heart could be similar to Fingertips, at least thematically but sonically too. What I need from one of the tracks though, production-wise, is an A&W-tier switch up. 1
vale9001 Posted March 20 Posted March 20 (edited) Exactly the same users complaining about the no promo before an album like for every post folklore karaoke versions release and Midnights We saw how that didn't work What makes even funnier she's literally on a massive tour right now and She promoted the album 4 times during these shows, with media covering the lunch of every variant. Plus She released the movie of this tour on Disney plus this weekend. Having like millions of people watching a big concert its such a celebration of every step of her career It's something promote her brand and what she could do next more than any boring interview, tv performance etc someone basically made no promo for their last albums before the release are Miley cyrus, Beyoncé or ariana. Not Taylor right now. Edited March 20 by vale9001
Nein Posted March 20 Posted March 20 (edited) Can we talk about how amazing these folklore variants are. They pioneered and paved the way for Midnights, 1989 TV and now TTPD. Edited March 20 by Nein 5 2

Or at least give us lengthy interviews to make up for the lack of performances I mean, considering the kind of radio run Is It Over Now? had, I'd imagine she might be contractually obligated to do the Jingle Ball circuit this winter 1

Those were a moment, I snatched betty's garden on vinyl and it's lowkey my favorite cover of hers The covers of in the weeds and running like water still make me cackle tho 1

How DARE you give up on my one last delusional hope for a promotional push to get evermore to finally sell a million pure copies in the US?

vale9001 Posted March 20 Posted March 20 (edited) The fact 1989 made 176M spotify first day 4 months ago with 16 songs of 21 were old songs (and wildest dreams and this love already released from years) and someone still acts like this won't outstream midnights 185M with just 13 tracks (AM midnights didn't have full 24 hours and the fact they weren't announced with the album kinda made their first day performance under the potential) Edited March 20 by vale9001
vale9001 Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Midnights 13 tracks charted from #1 to #13 on the first day. Labyrint made 9.8M, Sweet nothing made 9.2M, Mastermind made 9.2M streams. The great war reached 3.7M as track 14 announced with the album and with full 24 hours not less than 8M streams for that. The double of what it made.
19SLAYty9 Posted March 20 Posted March 20 The surprise will be a bonus vinyl for record store day with bonus songs lbr
