Midnights was pretty much bang on a month before from memory so it looks like she's following the same rollout to the letter

Hopefully that also means we can expect promotional content (whatever that means) to kick off in a few days :giraffe:

Midnights wasn’t on iTunes/ Apple Music until the week before. This makes me think we are getting single Friday

If so, I don't see the logic. Why release a lead 1,5 month after an album announcement?

Yeah I also think they wouldn't do that so early randomly, something must be coming

oh then I was right! I really thought that Midnights, Red TV, Speak Now TV and 1989 TV weren’t this early…

You first get all the pre-orders, and then you try to get even more people to pre-order it?

I also find it weird tbh. I'm not sure I want a lead prior to the album anyway, though I will eat it up if we get one.

Because everyone who’s going to pre order without hearing any music already has. A single may get new people to pre order. It also gets her another #1 before album release meaning she can get another album release week.

It was definitely up a month earlier - you may be thinking of the track lengths / producer info, which was posted in the week leading up to release (I feel like it was only a day or two before the leak?)

She always puts up the pre-save/pre-order on Apple like a month before every album.

They can cancel it after hearing badly chosen lead single

To achieve this which means the lead is underperformed, a lil quick peak then disssapear from the chart like Yes and? and Slime you out.

If the lead stick around and have good airplay, it will still be #1 on release week like Easy on me or even Break my soul.

So i`m not sure if i want an underperform lead or two no.1 scenario.

What if Paramore is her opening act in Europe because TTPD is a pop-punk album? The album title in all caps is a bit sus. :ducky:

Sad Beautiful Grammy truly is one of THE most underrated album tracks in her discography next to Allahcent. :msmarvel:
