And like it's already sold over 100k+ vinyl for the target one alone. And most Swifties prefer going to the store to purchase. Where do you have this data about 100k clear vinyls has been sold?

That's so 2022 Like omg she has no hype so I don't see her outselling 1989 TV or outstreaming Midnights. Taylormania is lowkey over and she's overexposed. Radio will switch on her and spotify will boycott her. Anything above 174k will be a success They actually believe there’s no hype and she’ll flop so idk about the pretending
wastedpotential Posted March 16 Posted March 16 I swear some of y'all are psyops run out of the Beyonce Base or something to try and get Swifties to give up It is quite literally impossible for this to debut under Midnights or 1989 TV. The numbers we do have do not support that. It is very nearly impossible for this to have worse first-week longevity than Midnights. We cannot see the pre-order data, but assuming that it's bad because there hasn't been a lead is just a diabolical narrative. I know it's tradition in this fanbase to start to bald from the stress and fretting of the anticipation from the presumed decline in first week sales, so I can't stop you, but I can politely request that you pull your heads out of the ******* sand and re-join us in reality. 1 6
Holiest Dreams Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Oh that last page is definitely going into my bookmarks. It’s a scream especially after the vinyl sales tea from Target that’s being passed around (yes it’s trackable), which puts the one vinyl edition at 2x the sales of what 1989 TV did in Target preorders across both formats and many variants. So loud and confident but so wrong. Maybe the TTPD release week will finally knock some sense into Swifties, but I already know we’ll be right back to square one come TS12 with everyone fear-mongering that her decline is imminent and the hype isn’t there because of arbitrary reasons like Twitter likes. 3
mael Posted March 16 Posted March 16 She will get a cute lil 150million debut first day but then -70% on 2nd day... we want ES' stability
MidnightsAtPeace Posted March 16 Posted March 16 "ThErE iS nO hYpE " like is this your first day being a swiftie????? are you 10????? 5

As I said, it's quite literally a fanbase tradition to worry about the album underperforming to an extreme and being blocked by the least likely candidate. I fear TTPD will be blocked on its debut by Dua Lipa's album (can't remember the name) that's coming two weeks later because the sales will be literally negative for the first two weeks due to everyone returning their pre-orders. It's over. 1

Can you explain about the Target numbers ? It’s weird I haven’t seen anything on it.

Hunter_13 Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Kinda hope she's spending this next month off signing 50k of each CD variant.

every1blinks Posted March 16 Posted March 16 She does not need to maintain hype for a full 2 months for this to be a success. I swear, Swifties get amnesia every time she’s about to release an album. 2
Solaria Posted March 16 Posted March 16 I’m really excited for this album tbh. Especially with the way she’s really been pushing it as a songwriter album.. we need those scathing songs back

Not the GP literally giving her 10 mil copies of TTPD BACK to her 3

Everytime people say Taylor’s hype is dead she debuts with 1M more units than her previous albums. I can’t handle another year of Swiftie domination!!!!!!!!! 1
