Wouldn’t it need 3LPs on vinyls though? I mean I guess it will depend on the length of the album, but 17 tracks are already too much for 2 LPs, no?

Depends, you can fill around 44 minutes per Vinyl, so 22 songs-ish on 88 minutes is reasonable 100%, but that’s not happening anyway 😂

I would assume the vinyls simply wouldn’t get those songs if they exist, since the 3am songs were never on a vinyl release either.

the store also oddly never showed the back covers of the CDs, only the back cover of the vinyls.

Well **** it, I’m putting my clown make up too!

I don't believe in double album release, but a ts12 sister record can be a thing (won't be released before late Q3 or Q4, so it could be nominated for Grammy 2026)

I don't think they would've tease 3am-esque edition with all these mrpeanut.gif

It's gotta be double LP or 22 March

I would love if its a double album like Shania Twain's Up! with a pop and country/rock version but its not realistic :gaycat6:
I feel at best it will be another surprise 3am drop like Midnights with 5-6 additional tracks as a chaotic surprise :michael:

But its DEFINITELY not a surprise rep (TV) release like some delusional cupcake twitter/tiktok Swifties think :bibliahh: Every album from now on will have months of preorders

I can't shake off the feeling that there might be something more. I have been a fan of TS for a long time, and I just don't see her spending all her weekends in a stadium with Travis, exuding all that upbeat energy, while during the week she's recording a sad breakup album about f*cking Joe. That's not how she operates. She likes to write and record in the moment.

Initially, I thought she might add a few songs she recorded after August, but after seeing the album tracklist of TTPD, I think it's very much a breakup album. Which means she might have been recording TS12 material for 6/7 months. A terrifying idea.

I think she started writing TS12 right after she finished writing TTPD (which she started writing right after she finished Midnights). Our productive queen :allears:

I’m more than happy with 20 songs this era, but imagine the actual surprise of getting the physical CD only to see ANOTHER disc full of music— she’s unhinged enough to do it

We can all expect the hate train for her with TTPD, it will finish at 65-70 reviews top. The wheel always spin.

I had to read this several times to make sure I was reading it correctly. Not even you believe this :snowball:

I mean, I’ve said the same thing roughly that critics are going to break out the good ol’ fashioned misogyny this time around with it being a breakup album + her level of dominance. Sure, but 65-70 is like impossible sorry. When I say critics won’t be objective I mean this might finish with the same or a bit less than Midnights, when we know it’ll be much better.

So how do you imagine people who bought only vinyls finding out that they could have double album if they bought CDs instead of vinyls? :ahh:

Spoiler

bfr, it's not happening

not the discourse about critics panning a good pop album (if it is, if it's bad it's bad) because of whatever when reputation still has like a 71 on metacritic

I feel like the Fortnight MV is gonna have her doing this ✌️ bullshit all over the chorus, trying to make it some sort of viral insufferable trend like "It's me hi"

It would be wild if one side of the jewel case is TTPD and the other side of the jewel case is TS12. Is it a double album if Taylor releases 2 different albums in 1 jewel case?

Not more repTV talk. :gaycat7:

It’s coming this fall.

What happened at midnight? I can't be clowned by both Katy and Taylor in 1 week. :fish2:

I thought it's been leaked that rep TV is coming 13 September 2024? The VMA anniversary?

TS12 on CDs means that she's dropping TS12 on streaming april 19. She's not doing it, since it will affect both albums in a negative way. Case closed

True. It's more likely she will drop it later.

TTPD was likely finished or close to it by then though.

I forget which insider it was, but I distinctly remember one of them guessing that Midnights might’ve been mixed and mastered as early as May 2022 in order to produce as many vinyl as She did for an October release.
