Ruben Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Posty’s last album was phenomenal so I wouldn’t be mad if he becomes her new Ed. The tracklist looks unhinged in the best way possible 2
Tusk Posted February 6 Posted February 6 But Daddy I Love Him Not this title. I make fun of this saying allllllll the time. 2
50thStateofMind Posted February 6 Posted February 6 perched for both collabs....canʻt imagine what a taylor/post song will sound like
sweetblindness Posted February 6 Posted February 6 My knee-jerk reaction is that a lot of the track titles are cringy, but I guess that's nothing new (ft. Phoebe Bridgers) for Taylor. I'm uneasy about the Post feature but I'll keep an open mind.

Something spicy. Like she's at a point where she can literally do any sound she wants without any repercussions. Plus she owes us after making the most bland/beige album that is Midnights (and Evermore like cmon). Like PLEASE! If this woman is gonna be the center of pop (which is honestly so sad...........) she needs to shake things up. Like her fans will literally eat anything she does so like....give us a trip hop album or something. Vaporwave or some Charli XCX pots and pans ****. Collab with ARCA. I think that's the thing though - you can't be the biggest pop star in the world and be THAT cutting-edge. Taylor is so big because she has mass appeal - she's the lowest common denominator when it comes to enjoyable pop music. She's inoffensive, her lyrics are relatable and whimsical, her sound progresses just enough to beat the "all her songs sound the same!" boring!" allegations without ever branching out far enough from the themes/tropes she normally sticks to so that fans still know what to expect from her... she's got a winning formula. This is neither a criticism nor a praise, though it could be taken as either depending on whether you view her music as more "art" or "product."
ATRL Moderator bluebirdsforever Posted February 6 ATRL Moderator Posted February 6 Also don't ask me why but for some reason I'm picturing something like for the Post collab, maybe it's wishful thinking She was obsessed with his song Better Now during Lover era, there's a puzzle here that needs solving somehow
wastedpotential Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Okay let me pretend like I haven't spent the past day dragging that tracklist through the mud 6
