I guess he's worried about the UMG police coming after him for posting TWCK lyrics hoping for some /KK lyrics soon too :ryan3:

I have a feeling TSMWEL is going to be the forever under-rated track on TTPD, I just know the fans are going to pay it dust and the locals won't make it that far in the tracklist :gaycat6:

I saved a print screen for future reference though! :coffee:

OT: I’m so excited for April 19th

On a serious note: I really have a feeling I Can Do It With a Broken Heart will be the modern day Long Live. Being track 13, I can see it being a fan homage

Ugh see I was obsessed with that line about the pretty cutlery and her wearing his favorite shade of lipstick, and it's a shame he's trying to censor himself (also Joe Alwyn homosexual rumors when? I know for damn well I've never met a straight man not in the beauty industry who knew a single thing about lipstick shades nnnn)

OT: I hope Post Malone's future Covid relief funds fraud legal proceedings doesn't interfere in the promotion of Fortnight as a single

I have a feeling it's going to be about Taylor re-assuring herself she can still perform on the Eras Tour and can still labor through three and a half hours without Joe as her mental rock 9zpbRHO.png

Being serious though, I agree it'll be a self-assurance song about how she persevered for her fans and with their moral support

What are the chances that she let someone else a professional direct the music video(s) this time

or is she gonna flex her directing again ahead of her upcoming film

As long as she doesn’t have any spoken lines it’ll be fine

taylor's second to last tracks are always some of her most underrated songs. peace, closure, ciwyw, sweet nothing, I know places are all so underrated, so I think The Alchemy is not going to be an exception :gaycat6:

All I'm asking for this album "marketing wise" is to give the lead & probably only single treatment to an actual ballad, even if it doesn't serve CS/AH level of longevity, with her current power it will make waves and get so much attention. while several of her ballads have gotten the flowers they deserved over the years, none of them got the initial exposure they deserved past the first week and got overshadowed, this needs to be the moment she "proves herself" singles wise and if it gets accompanied with a great video then it would be more game over for everyone than it already is...

I’ve been saying that aside from Clara Bow, I Can Do It With A Broken Heart is the other track I’m most looking forward to, and I think history will prove me correct:

Spoiler

ICDIWABH is track 13, her previous track 13’s:

Invisible

Change

Last Kiss

The Lucky One

Clean

TIWWCHNT

False God

Epiphany

Marjorie

Mastermind

The excellence. :jonny:

The only track 13 I haven’t liked is TIWWCHNT (:toofunny3:), but more often than not, they have been fantastic. Clean is literally my favorite Taylor song.

I’m trying not to get my hopes up too high, but I do have good expectations for this one. :jonnycat:

Maybe it’s allowed if it includes TTPD somehow?

The idea I had was to rank her tracks 1-20 and predict where TTPD would land. And do it one per day. So start tomorrow with Track 1, and then 2, etc. I don’t even know if people would find this fun anyway :deadbanana4:

I actually think that TTPD is the best possible era to make the ballad a lead single, it would become instant classic and actually could bring her SOTY. But since she's not making a pre-release single, I think that the lead will be whatever pop smash she has on that album. She still can make a ballad a 2nd or a 3rd single and it still would be great, but it will kinda lose it's significance.

But imagine if the lead single is So Long, London :jonny5:

Why do I have a feeling that I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can) will be one of the few upbeat (but melancholy) pop song with sad lyrics about trying to fix someone with depression. I can see it being something kinda like DWOHT, not that I expect or want it to sound exactly like that, but just the way it’s an upbeat song with sad lyrics and very melancholy-sounding production

I kinda want it

I will never understand the hate for her self-directed videos. Even if you dislike the Midnights videos, Cardigan and Willow are absolutely perfect. & don’t get me started on how ya’ll would be gagging over Karma if it had Kahn’s name slapped on it instead of hers.

Spoiler

Now, if the hate is for Lavender Haze... okay

I hope none of the TTPD videos are that… interesting
