Burqa Posted March 12 Posted March 12 25 minutes ago, wastedpotential said: Taylor attended the Max Martin school of pop smashery for a few years, took away the knowledge he could impart upon her, and quickly applied that newfound knowledge to her mega-successful pop records Lover and Midnights. I know some of y'all yearn for Max because you weren't fans when they were working together last and you want to experience some of that magic, but there was absolutely the same sentiment of tiredness for his work with Taylor by the time reputation came out. to YOU! everyone loved rep when it came out, and it’s very different from 1989. can’t say the same about Loser and MID tho 1

wowsignal14 Posted March 12 Posted March 12 now don't get it twisted I'm all for taylor to drop jack going forward simply because i want her to expirrement with new sounds and explore fascets of her artistry that she hasn't tapped into yet and the jack produced songs are becoming a bit of a stagnant new norm but to imply that she hasn't made some of her best songs AND some of her biggest hits and viral tracks with him is simply delusional and based on nothing but vibes. 3
Sweeftie13 Posted March 12 Posted March 12 My prediction for TTPD: First week sales : 1.650.000 physical copies + 450.000 streaming unites and iTunes Sales
Kern Posted March 12 Posted March 12 I wonder what Alchemy is about? Spoiler Lavender Haze - amazing, atmospheric and catchy intro to the album. It's the most substancial song on the album, a whole ass bop. 'talk your talk and go viral, I just need this love spiral' Maroon - let me keep it cute. Anti-Hero - another smash classic. She finally admits to being a problem sometimes. And the bridge is fantastic Snow On the Beach - I listened once and I forgot what was this even about. YOYOK - YOU ON YOUR OWN KID, ALWAYS HAS BEEN... OURSONGISTHESLAMMINGSCREENDOOR Midnight Rain - another very atmospheric song. It's really cool. Kinda feels like negative Lavender Haze if that makes sense. Question...? - No thanks XD Vigilante **** - I don't care, it's a BOP Bejelewd - my friend likes it. I forgot the rest. 1
19SLAYty9 Posted March 12 Posted March 12 So we have 20 songs so far: Imagine: - 5 Jack - 4 Aaron - 3 Max/ co - 3 Frank/ Louis - 3 Catharine Marks - 2 Jeff Bhasker 6 from the vault tracks on the 3 am edition - 2 Jack -2 Aaron - 2 Catharine ahh we would be eating 1
vale9001 Posted March 12 Posted March 12 (edited) Max Martin is a producer is okay when you are 20 years old please. It's okay to like his songs when you are 20 or when you are 40 and you want a throwback party but asking for your 35 years old or 40 years old artist to work with max Martin it's kinda cringe All the max Martin material just created a decade of confusion on her artistry around the world cause everyone was ok why this girl is differente? We already have Katy Perry for that kind of pop and she's way more colourful, seductive and great at selling this kind of pop ( i mean look Katy TG videos and Red Music videos). Yes 1989 Is a great swedish pop album but a popstar It's not only the record, everyone didn't know her before 1989 and Red pop songs just saw her as this goofy girl trying too hard to compete with Katy and Rihanna and these popstars Better at selling the "pop machine girl" image. Thanks to folklore and jack antonoff pop music they started to see her as a songwriter with a unique trait upon the big mainstream artist. Not another swedish pop girl . Max Martin made her name more global but antonoff and dessner made her name respected globally. This is the difference. Edited March 12 by vale9001 4
19SLAYty9 Posted March 12 Posted March 12 I would say midnights is closer to rep than lover… lavender haze maroon anti hero midnight rain vigilante **** karma Dear reader all would’ve fit better on rep than lover if they had to be .. although I definitely think it has its own distinct sound as an album While bejeweled, sweet nothing, and maybe Paris could’ve been on lover?

I’m hopeful they gave her much better material than lover. i’m sorry but the slander needs to stop. the only bad song they gave her was IFTYE and you can tell it was taylor’s fault when you listen to the voice memo they’re two of my favorite pop producers
Magickarp Posted March 12 Posted March 12 ANYWAY, i can't wait to do this again. This was done with the leaked album. I wonder what would be the positions now.
MidnightsAtPeace Posted March 12 Posted March 12 I better not see anyone wanting max to be involved in this album 1
Sprawl Posted March 12 Posted March 12 (edited) 4 minutes ago, MidnightsAtPeace said: I better not see anyone wanting max to be involved in this album They need to let him go. She didn’t even call him to produce the 1989 TV tracks. If that isn’t the clearest sign.. Edited March 12 by Sprawl 1 1

U can bring up "But what about X song", but i have MATHEMATICALLY proven, with YOUR OWN VOTES, by over 70 Swifties, most of which are Hack stans, that Hack is her worst producer, & it's not even close. Source: Max's songs Reveal hidden contents Aaron's songs Reveal hidden contents Jack's songs Reveal hidden contents Nathan's songs Reveal hidden contents With TTPD, Jack will surpass Nathan as her most used producer, but will he finally put out the same percentage of hits vs the number of tries he gets? Keep the lashings coming bestie. Show them that MAX MARTIN will always be the IT producer

Her following Taylor/ taylornation/ Joe and then unfollowing Joe after the breakup is suspicious as well. Now wait if this sounds anything like The Record 1
