A bit of rock, a bit of country, a bit of synthpop and a bit of soft rock. The cover is giving acoustic with a band album, but Midnights also gave indie rock vibes by its cover and it ended up being a synthpop album… so we will see trends in global spotify shows that it’d be a perfect commercial moment for an album as such instead of a “pure pop” one Edited March 9 by liquiddiamonds 3

I actually envision The Black Dog to be similar to Mitski’s The Deal. 1

Besides, Adele takes 4-6 year gaps between albums. A more likely way Taylor moves up the release is if Kanye delays Vultures Part 3 to 4/19 (I'm sure Taylor will be glad to block Kanye).
