MidnightsAtPeace Posted March 4 Posted March 4 I'm pretty sure Fortnight is not the lead but it will eventually become a single 1

When miss I Can Fix Him is actually a gut wrenching ballad about this theme then what? 4

The huh huh huh is exactly the same, at 1st i thought it was sample. But Tyler just steal that part without the need to credit Ms Banks 1
By the Water Posted March 5 Posted March 5 There's no way y'all are expecting a single before the album comes out 10

Clearly she hasn’t reached the ceiling in the US yet. Continuous genre switches will eventually cover all main music demographics (rock fans would be crucial to win over), which combined with the ongoing cultivation of the most loyal musical fandom this century will ensure an absolutely monstrous final peak in the coming years. I think TTPD will probably her peak opening sales for several reasons: - We're in the peak or slightly past the peak of Taylormania (I'd say the Superbowl was the peak) - A very noticeable fatigue has started kicking in from the general public and even casuals started hating on her all over the social media. - She's putting bonus tracks on each edition for the first time, which will boost the sales. If she attempts it again it will have diminishing returns. - This will be her first brand new album since the start of Taylormania. The next one won't have as much novelty factor. - She's out of a 6 year relationship and she's dating a famous hunk. Everyone is here for the gossip and they might look for it on this album. The next album won't have the same set of major events surrounding it. 4

SLUTTVFTV Posted March 5 Posted March 5 i hope theres some good merch this era- the packaging for the album has been sorta promising, but watch the merch be grey-beige sweatshirts with her face on it or random ass lyrics

IBeMe Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Ideal situation: The lead single sounds a little left field or folkoric esque like Cardigan, is released two weeks ahead of the album, goes #1 for those two weeks and then she replaces herself from #1 with Fortnight since that song will get the most streams on album release week since it's the first track and features Post so lots of ppl will be curious about that, then the lead takes back its position at #1 and stays topping for a while and then they make Fortnight the second single or release another song as the second single since Fortnight will have already had that one week at #1 and would have probably amassed lots of streams either way... 1
Tusk Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Taylor finally putting up peace signs for Gaza and ya’ll think it’s for her music. 2

joannna Posted March 5 Posted March 5 (edited) what if after Tortured Poets she keeps teasing Rep TV and then I am elated to tell you that my brand new album, Tortured Department's brother album, will be out in at midnight, and it's called And When The Scars Went Hollow. We bruise and heal, wander in our heels, never fathoming the depth of our wounds. And beats of our reels. We search through crowds, faces we know, profiles that take us home. Love has broken my rum, yet i recover in drums. and found meaningless reason. The next chapter of my injured station is no longer bleeding, it's here, alive, and beating. it's healed and forever daydreaming And when the scars went hollow, my heart cried wolf, And I came undone. Read me tonight. And dance onto me. --- then what? Edited March 5 by joannna 1

Holiest Dreams Posted March 5 Posted March 5 (edited) It’ll be April 17th and we’ll still have people in here saying “a proper lead single is imminent” I mean, this will be her 8th project since she last released a proper lead and we’re still discussing that as a possibility? ddd Edited March 5 by Holiest Dreams 6
Kern Posted March 5 Posted March 5 I believe the single shortly before the album tea. It just makes sense
favorite crime Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Fortnite won't be the lead single. Why are y'all acting like Post Malone is a hit magnet? His last hit bigger than Midnight Rain was released almost 5 years ago
