It’s still early days to discuss this, but — with TTPD destined to cross 2M and bring in a ton of new fans, TS12 or perhaps TS13 will have everything set in place to dethrone 25’s record. :ryan3:

Clearly she hasn’t reached the ceiling in the US yet. Continuous genre switches will eventually cover all main music demographics (rock fans would be crucial to win over), which combined with the ongoing cultivation of the most loyal musical fandom this century will ensure an absolutely monstrous final peak in the coming years. :celestial6:

Now I don't want to be "pessimistic" but if TTPD isn't her all time peak in terms of 1st week sales and she reaches even new highs later on, it's time to pack it up. :deadbanana4:

I feel like Tortured Poets could do a great job appealing to the “straight guy” demography. They won’t ever be her most important album buyers, but they could be very useful to secure those massive streaming debuts.:celestial5:
With all the focus from football, the “serious” aesthetic, the sexy pose on the cover and a possible rock/alt/pop sound (but with more energy than folkmore), Poets should expand her audience.:celestial5:

It can only peak 1 and break records. no other options :ryan3:

I'm expecting one of the tracks to destroy us like hoax does.

stood on the cliffside screaming "give me a reason"

your faithless love's the only hoax i believe in

don't want no other shade of blue but you

no other sadness in the world would do

I'm also expecting one of the songs to explore this theme a bit more:

is it really your anxiety that stops you from giving me everything?

or do you just not want to?

May God strike her down if ✌️ ends up being nothing :ryan3: I blame Lover. All this easter egg BS started there. Ah that album ruined so much.

Now lets not deny that the easter egg **** began with the back to back releases of the Look What You Made Me Do and ...Ready For It? videos :deadbanana2:

Do y'all remember the frame by frame analysis project for LWYMMD? :rip:

For sure, these next couple years need to play out as impeccably as things have gone since folklore if breaking that record is within reach.

But she’s already untouchable, so it’s really not a big deal if she never surpasses that record… as unprecedented longevity > one gigantic debut that doesn’t really matter anymore.:ducky:

Until then however, we’ll be seated for the first HDD updates next month. :bird:

Since Taylor's Version is about to end and the Eras Tour too, I can see her not releasing a single live album (she has too many songs from so many albums + all the surprise songs), rather she could do single live albums like "Fearless (Live at The Eras Tour) - Taylor's Version" and add them as actual Deluxes to the individual albums. As she did for Folklore TLPSS:

She could get the entire BB200 with this + we will finally have signed copies of the TV Albums

Are we anticipating a lead single for the 15th? The concert being released a day earlier on Disney+ makes me wonder if she wanted to have the Friday for something else... Plus we are about to get into a two-month tour hiatus. Maybe an announcement this Friday?

I know Midnights was a very silent era and all, but I have my doubts. Putting a feat as the first track with someone who has a lot of exposure and not releasing it as the lead single seems unlikely to me.

there's a gap between august and late october that is basically the same length as the gap between singapore and when eras starts up again in may

rep/whatever tv is next is obviously best during that time and that gap is probably on purpose for it

isn’t rep rumoured for

If reputation tv is being released on September 13 as rumored, can she really announce it on the last date in London? Or would it be leaked earlier because of vinyls?

I simply can’t believe we’re getting twenty NEW songs next month :jonny:

Also, I was at the Sydney N1 show. I laughed when I got HYGTG but was gagged immediately when she played Coney Island with Ms. Carpenter
