The back cover of The Black Dog is stunning. Of course the front is great too, but something about the back.

I fear yesterdays date will be TTPD's upside down phone:suburban:or maybe it was her way of endorsing Biden through performative art:suburban:

I feel like the 2 might signify the last two tv’s. maybe she will drop both at once when the time comes

I still think she will release the lead at 22 (2 2's) which is a friday

Someone pointed this out earlier in the thread

The fact the "2" has been used to tease this last variant, that the song is called "The Black Dog", and that the Black Dog Institute is a research institute working on mental health is extremely surprising if it's not deliberate.

It extends to the fact that Clara Bow is a song on the standard edition and that Clara Bow ended in a mental asylum because of the scrutiny of her love life.

This might be a complete reach, but it checks out. At least I believe this far more than the two albums theory. :gaycat6:

It would be a serve if she teased some of the visuals on the last show before the break :gaycat2: but it may be too early for that

Too early, visual teasers are for the week prior to release since there are no lead singles in sight.

I know this is just a coincidence (is it?) but still interesting :ducky:

Wait she’s only wearing a bra on variant 4’s back cover… maybe the tea about the album being sexual was true

TS12 will be the soundtrack for her debut movie I fear

I don't think so since Gaga doesn't count A Star is Born soundtrack as LG6, Taylor won't count her soundtrack as TS12

Ok cancelled my The Albatross preorder for this one. The cover is a total slay

Okay, I know this is a minor detail literally no one cares about but me but WHHHYYYYY is “Bonus Track” NOT italicized on the back cover of The Manuscript Edition like the other three? Consistently is key Taylor’s graphic design team!

But yeah, The Black Dog Edition is the best one: the front cover alone >>> This is most definitely the vinyl I’m choosing

She ATE with the last cover. Should've been the main one, it fits the title perfectly :jonny2:

The grief theory was pretty much correct, actually. 1st variant feels neutral, you can consider it denial. 2nd def has a more menacing tone with her glare. 3rd seems to be a visual reference to hoax’s cliffside imagery, and that lyric is literally about bargaining (“give me a reason”). 4th is straight up in our faces with the black dog signifying depression.

I suppose acceptance / healing will be TS12?

Colorwise she skipped depression.

Why do the cassettes cost more than the collector’s edition CDs
