For albums among solo women, I think it all comes down to whether she wants it. If it's only exclusive to Target for like a week and she then releases it via her web store and other retailers, plus maybe a digital variant or two, she could get pretty close; Q4 isn't as competitive as it used to be and she's the one to beat any given week. But that would take nine more weeks - and that's a tough push. I'd be more than happy to see it just get five more.

Cleanromantic Posted October 15, 2024 Posted October 15, 2024 6 months later and this is still her best album for me. I've never related to an album more in my life You see I was a debutant in another life but Now I seem to be scared to go outside So many lyrics I feel personally called out by 2
Mr. Duff Posted October 15, 2024 Posted October 15, 2024 Damn this is amazing! Do we already know why 35 tracks? Are there new songs or just remixes?

Radio plays be damn, release I Hate It Here or The Prophecy Blondie. if she rlly wants to go on that route she should release How Did It End? then

Michael196 Posted October 15, 2024 Posted October 15, 2024 LET'S GO My greedy ass was hoping for four new songs, but queen continues her streak of never tucking songs out of nowhere post release, deluxe and surprise editions hours after release don't count since they're planned ahead... The acoustics are four of these... loml , peter , MBOBHFT , GAS , HDIE , a WIN no matter which combination she picks, but loml better be there. I have yet to spend anything for this entire release (outside the AM subscription) since I wasn't able to get a signed cd, but this is a must

Achilles. Posted October 15, 2024 Posted October 15, 2024 The way I said I'd only buy the album if she put out Anthology physicals and now she is but I'm still like… why bother? I don't use CDs for anything, ever, and it's not like I have a complete collection of her catalog anymore anyways. IDK we'll see.
Peroxide Posted October 15, 2024 Posted October 15, 2024 So I'm going to share my revised ranking… Exceptional - 1. Guilty As Sin (Top 10 in her entire catalog) 2. Loml 3. Fortnight 4. The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived 5. Down Bad Amazing - 6. The Tortured Poets Department 7. Clara Bow Great - 8. The Prophecy 9. But Daddy I Love Him 10. The Black Dog 11. So Long London 12. I Hate It Here 13. Fresh Out The Slammer 14. My Boy Only Breaks His Favourite Toys Very Good - 15. I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can) 16. I Can Do It With A Broken Heart 17. Who's Afraid of Little Old Me? 18. I Look In People's Windows 19. I'm Gonna Get You Back Decent - 20. The Alchemy 21. So High School 22. The Manuscript 23. Thank You Aimee Meh - 24. The Bolter 25. Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus 26. Cassandra 27. Florida!!! 28. The Albatross 29. How Did It End? 30. Peter 31. Robin I love this project so, so much… it's my favourite thing she's put out since folklore. Yes, it's too long - yes, it's overstuffed - yes, she needs an editor… and yes she needs some BANGERS on TS12… BUT in terms of appreciating Poets for what it is - I wholeheartedly adore this record and the base album is top 3 in her whole discography alongside 1989 and folklore.
Calvin Posted October 15, 2024 Posted October 15, 2024 (edited) 152 shows? They still including Vienna dates? Edited October 15, 2024 by Calvin
