Gladiator Posted September 1 Posted September 1 I think "I was supposed to be sent away but they forgot to come and get me" is her best opening lyric for an album. That lyric and melody somehow are the most infections to me and then there I am listening to Fortnight and 2 hours go by and I listened to the album. 6
cruelhprince Posted September 1 Posted September 1 as much as I love GAS I think Down Bad would smash hard on radio, the chorus is so catchy even tho we probably won't get a 3rd single 3

I would love if she pursued the direction of 80's synth in the vein of somebody else by THE 1975 . These doesn't require huge vocals and would fit nicely with her voice.

It is arguably one of her best melodic lines too. But of course simply because there isn't a bombastic beat there is no melody at all on TTPD. 2
Taylor fanboy Posted September 2 Posted September 2 Down Bad is a generational SMASH. It needs a sexy sad galactic music video not a CGI'd Mid ights esque vibe. 1
liam13 Posted September 3 Posted September 3 does anyone else want more music from her i didn't feel this way after folklore. it's like, the new songs are not what i want and the replay value is not there so i want more from her. am i greedy 1 2
YourFavoriteWeapon Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Does anyone else notice this part in the production of BDILH at 4:42 when she says "wild joy" in the backing vocals but it sounds kinda shaky? It's one of my favorite little production choices on the album

Idk but I just thought as well that April was a weird time to release this album. It could've ate a lot more if it was released around Autumn/Winter. 1

MatiRod Posted September 7 Posted September 7 "Now I'm down bad crying at the gym" is the biggest hook on the album. That needs to be a single 100%. 2
