Sooooooo... what is you guys's opinions on this? Should Taylor do more to let other artists shine? What do you think could be the best strategy to have her flop on purpose so that others can finally shine like the beautiful diamonds they are? :eddie:

Yes she should take TTPD off streaming the week 143 drops so Katy can debut at #15 instead of #16

They can shine from below under the light she's casting down from #1 :jonny:

Can't believe she's got 15 weeks at #1 :jonny5: a career repeak for her.

And i'm sure Katy would be very grateful about it, they made up after all :hippo:

Exactly. It's all about feminism right? When a woman is at the top, it's a victory for every women. I'm sure OTHs would agree with that right? :ryan3:

Swiftologist says he has a source that confirms that no Taylor's Version will be released between now and the end of the tour.

I wonder if she's gonna push this to challenge 21s weeks at #1

I also believe it too. I don't think he would say it without being 100% sure the source was right.

Having said that, she could always be unpredictable so who knows! Maybe she's just announcing a documentary/new movie with TTPD in it.

I actually agree. I feel like she wouldn't have sang IDSB if she was about to release REP. I also have the feeling she won't release a new album anytime soon so she doesn't have to tour that soon.

I wonder if she shifted gears after TTPD smashing and the Vienna incident

No.

Fans fuel the release dates. She hasn't said a word. People need to stop using theories as truth.

I mean, everything is a theory until it's a reality so I don't see why your opinion is more valid than others. Speculating that nothing is coming is just as theoretical as speculating that it is. :suburban:

He also said eras tour would keep going into 2025 with the same sources quotation months ago, and then she said "nah", so I won't believe this till August 20 passes with no announcement

That has made sense to me for a while. I think when she filmed the Karma MV with that clock easter egg she intended for rep TV to be next, but once she had enough material to release a new album, everything shifted and we won't get rep TV until next year at the earliest. I just can't see the logic behind announcing a new album while your current one is still #1 on the Billboard charts and I think albums can also underperform if you release them the same quarter as the US elections. I know a lot of people were holding on to the fact that she hadn't performed IDSB and was saving it for the announcement, so her performing that with no announcement was her making it clear to me that it isn't being announced at any remaining Era's dates.

Honestly that's a good thing. Letting TTPD be the main album to focus on for the rest of the year is probably what she needs right now. We'll see what happens but i hope it's true.

looks like weeks where her efforts made a difference in snatching #1:
her 14th #1 week (Kanye)
her 12th #1 week (Zach)
her 5th #1 week (Billie)

interesting, when certain people are accusing her of "purposefully blocking people who have never gotten a chance to shine," given they're all Grammy winners with #1 albums and #1 songs

Nathan Hubbard from the Every Single Album podcast said something similar, and he sometimes has insider knowledge too.

I think she's going to keep the focus on 'TTPD' for the remainder of the year. She's also clearly filming something in London right now, probably a behind-the-scenes documentary, which she can then also drop alongside a professionally recorded 'TTPD' set on Disney+ for her birthday on Dec. 13 (which would also serve as her big Grammy campaign move).

I expect her to be more low-key next year as she focuses on her directorial debut, so these last two TVs can come in 2025 to tide the fanbase over. :lakitu:

Right?? Those people are hardly underdogs, no matter ho much OTHs pretend otherwise :toofunny3:

If there are no further rerecordings coming until after the tour, I fully expect physical copies of The Anthology later this year. :ducky:

But then, at the same time, if she's going to focus on TTPD, can she at least focus on releasing singles instead of releasing weekly variants?

If she releases Anthology vinyls in October-November-December, and with Eras returning to US, I won't be surprised if she does start to close in on it.
