This is why their hate will never amount to anything outside of ATRL and Twitter gays :ahh:

It must irk that they can't do anything about it other than to clog an atrl thread over and over as if it was a gotcha moment :ryan3:

The hypocrisy of it all is that if this had been about other pop girls, esp Beyonce, Adele, and Billie, the mods would have merge all thread into a mega thread, but for Taylor, it's different.

The way you can literally see the fumes coming out of the ears of the THOTS in that thread because their frustration and incomprehension is literally causing the (few remaining gears to grind to a halt and break down:ryan3:

Peter live from Stockholm streamings on a rainy night… I can see why the THOTS are mad :jonny: they wish their fave was serving such divine excellence

I just did quick math on this, but I'm pretty sure that just since the release of Folklore, Taylor has now spent more weeks at #1 on the BB200 (43) than she did before Folklore (40)… and also more than any other woman has spent at #1 in total besides Whitney (46) :deadbanana2: talk about an imperial phase, like damn, few literally never run out of ways to express how unprecedented her career since 2020 has been

Ladies and gents, this is how you do a remix. I need her to drop a variant with this! The chorus is a bop :jamming:

And we still got another week, plus whatever debut and rep TV do and a very, very, very long career still ahead

the anger over something that has NO tangible effect on any of their lives :dies:  you'd think Taylor herself showed up to their houses and slashed their tires

There will always be a new "drag", just last year she was getting called an eco terrorist and chart obsessed for having 5 vinyl variants of 1989 and now there's the likes of BRAT with 16 and they're saying "fun colors for the fans, not as collectible as mp3 files, no extra bonus track!". :bibliahh:

The way she's just going to keep adding to this :jonny5:

Spoiler

I guess what they say about gays and math isn't true :ryan3:

Except, I do think that the ability to do Taylor Math (especially at the expense of THOTS) is mandatory to coming successful ATRL Swiftie

Low key I want her to stretch out the variants tactic and then the hopefully inevitable Anthology mini-era long enough to snatch 21 and get her to 94 total weeks at this point :gaycat:

Spoiler

I can also secretly confirm that I am a gay who has a literal data analysis degree and career literally because of Taylor Math if I'm being straight up :clack:

Even beyond the numbers I do love seeing the meltdowns from the THOTS every time she has her DSP staffer's assistant upload another random live mp3 file. The rush I get seeing people scream and kick their feet at her doing basically nothing because they know it just won't work for anyone else is delicious :ryan3:

Also, yes to an Anthology run, I'm sure she can find a way to cook up special variants just for it's sake :ryan3:

Spoiler

The way I literally picked a university degree based on a spreadsheet that weighed my interests against programs with the fewest math requirements the ironies are obvious here nnnn because I never wanted to look at another number again in my life :ryan3:

Spoiler

And that's how I ended up studying international relations because the most math I had to worry about were the pretty trees in game theory :ryan3:

Spoiler

and the six-month quantitative thesis but I've blocked that out and I haven't looked at a non-Taylor number since :ryan3:

I hadn't even considered Anthology variants, oh your mind, speak more of that into existence :jonnycat: We could be a two-gay international marketing department, imagine her reign on the charts with us involved!

See I think about this all the time. I had a Twitter friend apply for (and not get) a 13 Megladons job back in like 2016, and I just have to wonder what life would be like if the good people of this base were able to provide Taylor with a direct line of commentary for some of her career choices :giraffe:

Some of y'all are occasionally batshit (spoken with love ) so I'm sure she'd ignore us like 90% of the time, but there are a million recommendations I'd make right now if I got the chance. Watch me take a Time Machine back to the Rep Room to tell her all about re-organizing and optimizing her Spotify page :gaycat4:

This excuse particularly will always SEND me because it makes zero sense. Variants are variants, where's the drag that Taylor actually puts in the effort to give fans something worthwhile to buy? Every unboxing video I watched noted how high quality the TTPD vinyl were - the thick pages in the gatefold, the design, etc. as well as the deluxe CDs having great material. Meanwhile other artists (which isn't limited to just one specific btw) just do colored discs and call it a day. Putting less effort into your product for your fans and charging the same price is a good thing…?

Then again, OTHs never make any sense and change up their argument daily so it tracks :clack:

Tbh, there's nothing I want more than for her to do variants if we get an Anthology physical. There are other amazing photo options for a front cover. I was almost thinking maybe give us the same colors as the standard, using the double border design of the Anthology cover. For the white one, make the double border dark sepia toned. Idk, something like that. It won't happen imo and I'd be happy with just physicals for the Anthology period but… :ryan3:

Side note: no pick ME! Swifties in here complaining about the variants and her "embarrassing" us yet? Whew what a miracle :ryan3:

I think "HA! Taylor Swift has people BUY HER MUSIC??!!" is as a stupid (and also hilarious) of an attempted drag as "OMG?? Taylor Swift has so many fans that every single member of the American GP under 40 either loves her or hates her and she's therefore not a GP artist!!" :suburban:

they're gonna look really stupid when numbers come out and turns out she would've been #1 without the digital variants lol

August 16 - Post Malone

August 23 - Sabrina Carpenter

August 30 - A$AP Rocky (last album 75,000), Sabrina 2nd week?

September 6 - looks pretty empty?

September 13 - also looks pretty empty? her friend Suki Waterhouse is releasing tho

September 20 - also looks pretty empty aside from acquaintances Katy Perry and Nelly Furtado

September 27 - Luke Bryan (last album 65,000)

It'd obviously take a lot more of a considerable push by September since the SEA would naturally likely be in the 40-45k range I assume

the week of the 13th would probably be a no go since Chapell is performing at the vmas and I think she has some vinyls to coincide with that week if i'm not mistaken. I think she'll be gunning hard for #1 that week tbh. The other weeks do look promising tho! realistically she could probably even block Posty if she really wanted to but I know he is a friend and what not :eli:

It's always like this but that's been the case in so many situations that they just have to make this into some kind of moral issue instead :toofunny3: They genuinely think she's a reprehensible person because she……. released some editions of her album to keep it at the top for longer. Like… the music industry is not a charity, and she did nothing wrong.

Chappell is 100% gonna get the #1 after Post & Sabrina leave the top spot imo. The VMAs week is highly likely for her, and if Taylor goes we already know she'll be singing along to GLB! and cheering her on. The meltdowns are funnier when you realize that this is far from her last chance to get the top spot, and I think this will be the last week Taylor's team pushes TTPD for the time being :suburban:
