now that i know who Kamala picked for her VP candidate I am fully on board with Taylor giving her a boost or whatever by endorsing her tbh (IF she wants to even do that of course). Guys I have been beaming all day ever since I knew Walz was going to be her VP choice :smitten:

--------------

I hope she gives Broken Heart a bunch of remixes and a new tour mv of the full performance on the week that it peaks on radio. Could give enough of a boost to get a week at #1

People pretending to be objective about their dislike for an artist will always baffle me… like tweet about someone you love?

Yeah they should really listen to Taylor's words:

I wanna be defined by the things that I love
Not the things I hate
Not the things that I'm afraid of, I'm afraid of
Not the things that haunt me in the middle of the night
I, I just think that
You are what you love

Taylor will announce reputation Taylor's version album during the VMAs I fear.

A September announcement would mean a November release. That's too close to TTPD.

Rep TV and Debut TV are coming in 2025 because she wants 2 rereleases per year

REP TV album should come by November 10, the day of the 67th Grammy nominations as well as 7 year album anniversary of REP OG.

well… Kamala's laugh would sound amazing in the background of ICDIWABH's squeeze-me chicken toy instrumental :jonnycat:

I don't think either date is one that needs a release timed with it

I feel like Rep TV will definitely be announced at Eras as it's a re-recording; it's the pattern she's set so far. Plus, a re-recording isn't quite as big as an entirely new album (although it comes close as we've seen from 1989 TV), so it makes sense she would keep it more "for the fans" and announce it at Eras.

I'm prepared to absolutely lose my sh*t for the show this happens at though, and I'm not even a Rep girlie. Imagine we finally get a new outfit. :jonnycat:

The biggest giveaway that rep is getting an announcement during Eras is that she hasn't done IDSB yet.

I'm 100% sure she's saving IDSB & Cassandra for rep TV announcement.

This! and it will be during the last leg of the Eras tour which is in the end of the year, late Nov or Early Dec, and she can release rep TV in Feb 2025, then TTPD Anthology physical during the mid year, and then self titled later in Q4.

The pattern has been

2019 - 1 album

2020 - 2 albums

2021 - 2 albums

2022 - 1 album

2023 - 2 albums

so hmm there isn't a pattern yet.

alchemy going viral thanks to olympics wasn't on my bingo. first Chinese gold medalist sharing it, now edits with duplantis and his girlfriend (who is also swiftie lol)

it's obvious that she will announce 20/08 and will go to a one month break, the album will be released 18/10 :coffee2:

Same thing for Debut being announced in Vancouver for a 2025 release

It's crazy how Cardigod served 1 -> 8 -> 24 and didn't chart on the year end H100, but is now her 7th most streamed song of all time, & her 6th most streamed daily song. 4th without TTPD.

The definition of a CLASSIQUE.

Only her best song :clap3:

have we seen a direct streaming boost because of this? I'd be happy if Alchemy got more love tbh :emofish:

The only thing that makes me wonder about the timeline of the remaining rerecordings is that TTPD is still going much stronger than I think anyone expected at this point. The Anthology could seriously have enough steam left in it, if it got a physical release, to spend another month or more at #1 on the Billboard 200. That puts a hypothetical Reputation TV and TSTV in a little bit of an awkward place - they're going to do well no matter what, so does she put them off for a while to really milk TTPD for all it's worth, or risk dampening TTPD's momentum to release those while she's clearly still having her moment as an industry force?

I'm of the belief that she should wait to release the remaining two TVs. There is no rush. TTPD is a juggernaut and deserves a proper era with at least three singles and a Anthology physical release. Reputation TV and Debut TV would be perfect for 2025 to extend this zenith of her career and also to mark the 20th anniversary of her amazing career (or at least closer to it lol). I really hope she holds them off a bit longer.

Just re-read the thread's thoughts on the various variant announcements + Anthology drop. :jonny: It was so fun.

Still don't understand why all the Taylor haters listened to the leak before the actual Swifties did lmao.

I hate that it's looking more and more likely that Debut TV won't be released at all during the remaining Eras shows. Wouldn't it make sense to release it and give it its own setlist like she did for TTPD? I think Debut TV should have an announcement + release before Rep TV. And then she can announce the release of Rep in 2025. Rep will automatically sell 1 million. It's already a popular album. Debut TV needs the biggest push.
