I initially thought The Anthology side of the album was the best but on repeated listens, the production on those tracks just run together and lack the quirky qualities of the standard.

The first half has always been the stronger album. That's not to say there aren't several standouts on part 2, but overall, as an album, is weak.

Man, loml is so sad, especially when you kinda relate to the lyrics, the lines just before each choruses are so depressing and the outro is just devastating. Excluding Ronan, it's probably one of her saddest songs.

If throwing multiple listening parties for the same album over a significant period of time, where every single time it was followed by a new delay due to the underwhelming response, on top of the endless teasing is considered casual, then you may need to reevaluate your knowledge of the english language

The fact that people are STILL trying to convince themselves TTPD (and Midnights) didn't connect with anyone but hardcore Swifties  You don't break every streaming record and sell 5M copies in 3 months thanks to your fanbase only. Swifties are the ones living in a bubble though!

This LOSER. Sure, I don't think every Midnights/TTPD song is an 11/10 (looking at you, ***** and Kim), but to act as if there's nothing of merit to be found is just LUDICROUS 

 

I fear we need to dramatically roll out deafness screenings in schools post-covid, because surely his inability to hear correctly would've been caught by now otherwise?

A September announcement would mean a November release. That's too close to TTPD.

I don't think either date is one that needs a release timed with it
