I want to do that but I still don't know where to put them. Carolina is in my evermore reworked between coney island and ivy and it sounds heavenly. I don't just want to tack the others at the end, but include them where it makes sense.

nnn see I was lazy and just put them at the end. I've toyed around with inserting them into the tracklist but it's just never flowed right, and at this point I'm too used to the original to make any changes :gaycat6:

My neighbor was blasting the album with the door open this afternoon. I got excited and I pretended to be cleaning my door mat to get a better peak but I was disappointed to find that my neighbor is a girl... well she was singing along to Fresh Out The Slammer so at least she's got taste.

Being used to the original is the biggest problem I have with inserting the other songs into it. For example, Renegade would be perfect between closure and evermore, but idk, something feels strange. :gaycat6:

Oh, that's actually an intriguing idea :lakitu:

I wish I wasn't cursed with the compulsion to listen to albums front to back every time cause then I'd probably have no issue changing the track lists :gaycat6:

Spoiler

Maybe it's because all of my friends are GP'd and couldn't give a flying **** about the things discussed here/ stan twitter, but everything said by the oth here makes me laugh. Like if my friends found out about where I spend my time on the internet they'll stop talking to me :toofunny2:. But it says alot that the only album/ artist that comes up in random conversations by people from completely different nationalities is ttpd and Taylor, and no one even knows that I like Taylor cause I never talk about her and I like to keep my interests private.

The best selling and most streamed artist in the world is actually...liked by the GP?? Impossible, OTHs here said that BRAT is more culturally relevant so that cannot be true :ryan3:

Midnights is already getting tons of those "it's time to admit that Midnights was great and incredible era" tweets. Same thing will happen with TTPD, mark my words.

She really is always ahead of her time. "Nostalgia is a mind's trick"… I remember everyone complaining about the Midnights era at the time and now everyone's raving about it.

I just re-did the song sorter for TTPD. I'd say every song in the top 20 is a 10/10 or close to it for me. Then everything from TYA downwards is just not something I gravitate to a lot. The top 5 is certified perfection that are essentials in Taylor's discography.

Rank Song
1 I Hate It Here
2 Fresh Out the Slammer
3 Guilty as Sin?
4 How Did It End?
5 Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?
6 The Albatross
7 The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived
8 The Prophecy
9 But Daddy I Love Him
10 loml
11 Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus
12 My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys
13 The Black Dog
14 So High School
15 I Can Do It With a Broken Heart
16 Clara Bow
17 Peter
18 Florida!!!
19 The Bolter
20 I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can)
21 I Look in People's Windows
22 So Long, London
23 Down Bad
24 The Alchemy
25 thanK you aIMee
26 Cassandra
27 Fortnight
28 imgonnagetyouback
29 The Manuscript
30 The Tortured Poets Department
31 Robin

Taylor needs to hire someone asap to choose her lead singles cuz after ME!, Willow, S**t! & this (and also Lavender Haze but that crises was averted last minute & replaced with Anti-Hero), it's clear as day she's not good at it :suburban:

Honestly this is campily iconic. It's how I felt about the Willow collapse, only The Most Important Pop Girl™ is going to have the biggest collapses on the charts :jonny5:

Even her flops are the most successful at being flops :jonny5:

This happens with all of her albums. She has yet to release a bad album, and they all grow in stature over time. :gaycat:

Why does everyone think Matty is always the starry eyed reference? Doesn't she say Joe had starry eyes in Call it what you want? (listned to it again after ttpd binge and it's still an amazing song idc :jonny2:)

She really mixed these 2 people so well and nailed it with the whole red Herring thing in so many different ways, a genius, a poet, etc :clap3:
