The fact that we lived through that (at that point 3 of the 4 biggest drops ever), and Her radio power has still held :jonny5:

Blessings to Dalaicate and Apostles-Hymnal for turning this ship around:gaycat1:

But seriously, I love that people deluded themselves into thinking she didn't release a new variant last week cause she couldn't block Eminem when we know damn well she would have a 500k (or even more) week if she lifted a finger on those Anthology vinyls :rip: I'll stop arguing with them, they'll hate her no matter how many facts you present to them.

They stan Eminem, sis. They've suffered enough!

I'll never forget delicate's slow burn and how it almost got the overall #1 but was blocked by multiple songs, then girls like you came swinging and erased any hope left for it...

Yeah, it's really funny to see Em*nem stans try to comes for Taylor of all people while also acting like they have MORAL reasons to be anti-Taylor when Em*nem is the one with all those homophobic lyrics :toofunny3:

People are really just supporting ANYBODY that they feel can "defeat" Taylor, it's gone beyond logic at this point.

The summer of 2018 was the most precarious I've ever felt as a Swiffer. I've never tracked the charts like I was then. I was deadass calling radio stations to get them to play Delicate before it took off :deadbanana4:

I mean we'll never be allowed to forget -37 (even if willow doesn't even hold that record anymore) but whew if that's not a badge of honor in 2024 now that we've seen some real hits come through. My fave has so many hits that she also has the worst drop from #1 :jonny5:

true, she has a lot of younger (and annoying) fans now. folklore-Red increased this fan base so much, it's insane :rip:

You're really surprised that folklore/evermore/Red TV brought more people in the fanbase than Reputation/Lover? :ryan3:

Lover is now her best streaming album and it's gonna stay that way for a long time to come. And Reputation is in the top 40 of the most streamed albums of all time so let's not act as if those albums are somehow massively disliked. We need to stop letting our personal feelings get in the way of reality :ryan3:

Then why wasn't she neither more successful nor more acclaimed during these years than what she is now?

Lover and Rep are definitely successful albums, but they really don't compare, in terms of what they brought to her career, to what came before and after them.

Spoiler

And they are also not as good as them :ryan3:

:clap3:(no comment on lover though I really don't like that album but slay)

I'm also so glad rep has gotten a resurgence, it's coming to STOMP on all the haters necks

I was thinking about rep and max actually and do we really want the guy that still hangs out with Luke to be near Taylor? Idk

It's ok to not like Lover but i'm just telling basic reality. And yeah, Reputation is a fantastic pop album that would get acclaimed if it was released by ANY other pop girl. Can you imagine if Britney, Gaga or Rihanna released Reputation? Their fanbases would call it the masterpiece to end all masterpieces.
