Starchild Posted July 16, 2024 Posted July 16, 2024 (edited) Y'all I barely noticed, there is a lot of intentional mixing with Joe and Matty, more than the juxtaposition of both of them like in loml Like in Dress she says "you left your mark on me a golden tattoo" and in TPD "like a tattoed golden retriever " and in Chloe or Sam (a song about Matty) the chord from champagne problems is playing in the background repeatedly which Taylor and Joe wrote together there's also imgonnagetyouback being about joe but samples an intro from the 1975s and copies the lowercase title it has. There's a lot more and I'm sure y'all have already noticed but it just hit me and thought it was interesting Edited July 16, 2024 by Starchild 1

I'm pretty sure they are not going to be released. Most likely UMG wasn't even aware of the Anthology when they set the orders for the physicals 6 months before and releasing Anthology would kill the chance of selling the stock Edited July 16, 2024 by JorgeM
Badgalbriel Posted July 16, 2024 Posted July 16, 2024 We're about to have this thread closed, right? or did the rules change and threads no longer get closed after 3 months?

I'll ask in HQ It is 6 months indeed ALBUMS An album thread can be created when both the album title and month of release are known. Album threads will be closed six months after release. Album discussion should then move to the artist's Base. Reissues can have a new album thread if more than 25% of the track listing is previously unreleased material (excluding live versions and remixes). 1

TheArgonaut Posted July 16, 2024 Posted July 16, 2024 Hopefully Blondie can snatch at least 1 grammy with TTPD, judging by the critics reaction to the album I think only it's humongous sucess would give it a chance.
