I’m  just gonna say it but I’m worried about the number one first week in the single charts WW, THE by Beyonce just keeps getting bigger and bigger and multi format smash on radios which will peak around April,

I mean I love Beyoncé and THE song but I’m a bit worried for an Old Town Road situation that’s it’s just too damn big… and this time it’s gonna be part of an album and not just one song to push. I mean I’m sure I’m overthinking it but still… 750k a day in the UK is too damn big. :)

P.S

Those 2 mash ups today just killed me. Perfection!!!

I think we are really getting ahead of ourselves if we think THE will be like OTR.

So what? It’s not like the album will not be successful anyways. I think Taylor has plenty of success already, wouldn’t it be nice to at least hear one song before the release?

The woman has given us over 30 new songs in the past 18 months.  I think we can wait 6 weeks.  Plus I think there is value to hearing a song in the context of a full album.

What was the value of hearing ME! in the context of Lover? :eli:

jk, I agree with you. 2 months is not a long wait anyway

You know this is easily the worst variant when the Collectors Edition CD still hasn't been sold out yet :ryan3:

The Manuscript and The Bolter were both sold out in the UK store within a few hours

But was not sold out on the US (apart from the first one), and of course people will buy less and less each time out of the gate.

Who knows, it keeps growing and growing and it's her biggest hit of the last decade at least.

There is a l3aked list of all 5 TTPD versions floating around, 4th version is ugly and called "The Bowery" and 5th is Target Exclusive, which is just dark gray version of The Manuscript.
Probably fake, but I expect her to have 4 versions + the target one anyway.

The Ancient Mariner is a 1925 American silent fantasy drama film based on the popular 1798 poem, The Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Samuel Taylor Coleridge. The film was directed by Henry Otto and Chester Bennett, and it was adapted for the screen by Eve Unsell. The film stars Clara Bow, Gladys Brockwell, Nigel De Brulier and was distributed by Fox Film Corporation. The film is presumed to be lost.

This can't be just a coincidence, right? :deadbanana:

It’s been two weeks. And I think it declined in steams week over week.

Eh, no one else would know about it, which would make our lives easier :eli:

Inside the fanbase it'd be just as hated as Stay Stay Stay, but none of the other fanbases would pay it much thought, and would lash us with Shake It Off lyrics instead which are much easier to rebut.

It would have given me a chance to dilute the toxin at least.

If it is fake, it’s an ugly cover. Mostly because the text is over her this time.

Both joe enders and joe widows need to give it a rest. I don't want to hear about what that man is up to. Whenever I do it's always against my will

The album will be out anyway... You'll still hear a song in the context of a full album then

No I don't but it's really not that big of a deal. I can even say yes if that makes you feel good. You won

You’re really getting ahead of yourself. Do you know how much it would have to surge to get to even half of what Anti-Hero debuted with in streams? :deadbanana4:

Yes but radio is gonna be massive for Beyonce in just a few weeks from now. It’s on 9 formats right now. Taylor gets played on 3 usually. There hasnt been a crossover song played on this many formats in years. It has the potential to be super massive in terms of OTR. But obviously we won’t know what the future holds. It’s also mega viral right now and it’s only at 7 million global Spotify. It could be its peak in streams and gradually drop already come April.

This, didn't say we're doomed, I just said that the radio of THE will be insane on April, and who knows when it will peak streaming wise, so...

I really think anyway THE will finish as one of the biggest song of the year, if not the biggest, and that's before the album boost next month.

Y'all think the "The _________" bonus tracks are gonna involve the titles in the lyrics at all?

:clack:

I can see her being left with 5 leftover sings, & renaming them just to fit the aesthetic

So.. we still have 1 version to be announced in Singapore and a Target exclusive. Then she's probably gonna restock them all for 72 hours 1st time and near april 19 for a few days (or weeks idk). I'm curious about whether she and her team will do something to minimalize the hate for versions or not. It probably won't matter after the album releases, 'cause everyone will be seated. But we still have 2 months ahead with no music, only vinyls and whining b*tches :gaycat5:

She wasn't that big when Midnights was coming + We waited 1,5 months instead of 2,5 + We had Midnights Mayhem at least. But now it's kinda worse (the numbers are gonna be much bigger than Midnights anyway)

Idk, but all of her songs that starts with "The", actually have their title used in the song.

The Archer

The Best Day

The Great War

The Joker and the Queen

the lakes

the last great american dynasty

The Last Time

The Lucky One

The Man

The Moment I Knew

The Other Side Of The Door

The Outside

the 1

The Story Of Us

The Very First Night

The Way I Loved You

And we also got The Tortured Poets Department, The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived and The Alchemy on the regular tracklist, so maybe they're really making sence. I wonder if there was a song that she didn't really want to be on the standart edition, but put it there 'cause it doesn't starts with The :allears:
