Also, the fact that this is the longest any woman has consecutively locked down the top of the Billboard 200 in over thirty years is wild :deadbanana: If she does indeed move next week, then I think she has a clear shot at breaking Carole King's all-time record for consecutive weeks at #1 among women

She said let me rewrite those Big Machine era personal records and leave Borchetta in the dust. :clap3: Under Republic, she'll have had her personal longest running #1 album with TTPD, longest running #1 single with Anti-Hero, longest charting song with Cruel Summer, highest first week sales 3x over with Midnights>1989TV>TTPD, most successful tour with Eras, matched her AOTY wins, most critically acclaimed album with Red TV, charted more songs total on the Hot 100, more top 10s on the Hot 100, more #1s on the Hot 100, more cumulative weeks at #1 on the BB200, and had more #1 albums on the BB200. :clap3:

Wow. Bloody brilliant. Beautifully summed up.. reaching new and better heights. She showed them that she made the right call and signed with the better record label to push her in the streaming era.Taylor is and always was smart.

At this point she just really care about the record and not these 'peers' of her. Zach is a fan and has been to her studio and they took the same pic together.

Hope she blocks him to see his girlfriend fume on her podcasts :jonny: she said Swifties are annoying, tried to negate her songwriting by pointing out she has co-writers, said that every song on TTPD sounds the same, called her relationship performative/fake, etc. etc.

So one more week at #1 and she breaks most first weeks at #1 for a female album (12 weeks). One more week after that and she ties Bodygaurd for most consecutive weeks at #1 (13 weeks). It will be interesting to see if she can beat Eminem for a 13th week. As far as I know there's still some variants that need to be shipped and Em is releasing without physicals. Is it doable? Anyway I'm gonna start streaming the whole album front to back now and sing my lungs out.

Eminem is trying the "limited edition bonus track" thing too.

unfortunately I dont see how it will be possible for her to block Eminem tbh. She is 100% getting that 12th week though thats for sure but for her to block Em she'd have to have enough unshipped varients to prob cross 300k which is prob around what Eminem will debut with (even without physicals)...he is a very strong front loaded streamer so his debut week streaming numbers will be strong AF.

The only way she could block him and grab a 13th week would be if she has anything Anthology related.

Somehow he stays lurking in the background of the Taylor universe. It's interesting to note he has contributions to songs by her friends Shawn Mendes, Ed Sheeran and Halsey as well as credits on Harry Styles' last album. Even Maren Morris has background vocals on his last album. :-*

Wait the 65k signed cd sales. I thought it's not possible to track sales from her store anymore?

Lowkey wish they'd remove the Fortnight canvas on Spotify and replace it with others on all songs. folklore, evermore and Midnights have such beautiful ones.

Sometimes it's still possible for brief periods after a release before they disable things - maybe these were just available for such a short time that it was possible to track.

So 12th week on lock now. Good for her though. A personal best for the legend that she is. Hopefully she switches things up for the next album. I wish she would make another pure pop record again. Anti-hero and Cruel Summer shows she can still make bangers but i just wish we had another 1989 by a 35 year old with a somewhat pop mature sound and lyrics. How about taking inspiration from her thirties and her success.

I think she will. She was very clear when TTPD came out when she said, "This is album i had to make for myself." I don't have the source but remember that clear as day. I took it as her saying this is a one-off album outside of her normal discography, and I think that's held to be true.

I might be on the contrary here. I wish nothing as such. I want her to be more creative with her sound, i.e. doing something she has never done before.
