Yeah, it was the obvious lead single choice. Like most of her albums it's not the best song on the bunch but it makes perfect sense as a lead.

Fortnight acoustic is okay

Slammer is not

The "I'm pissed off you let me give you all that youth for free" line in SLL is one of her most heartbreaking lyrics ever. The concept of wasting her best years on something that amounted to nothing is present on most of ttpd, but she says it so plainly and directly on SLL and it's so heartbreaking.

This is why I'm seeing alot of 30+ people relating to this album more than the early 20s crowd. And as an old hag I relate to it the most too :chick3:.

Just made a playlist with all the best tracks from Evermore, the best Evermore scraps and offshoots (Renegade, Birch, Carolina, The Alcott), and all the best songs on The Anthology (except imgonnagetyouback which is amazing but doesn't fit the vibe) and I think I ascended :jonny2:

So when I

Touch DOWN

Call the amateurs and cut em from the TEAM

Ditch the CLOWNS

Get the CROWN

Baby I'm the one to beat

'Cause the SIGN on your HEART

Said it's still reserved for ME

Honestly

Who are we to fight the alchemy

It's literally crack cocaineee. Stadium anthem, kind of should be on the Errors tour

Apparently Zach is going to be doing something like 150k-180k first week sales since his first day (30k) counted for this tracking week. If she wanted she could easily block him and break Whitney's record tbh.

Saw a thread about TTPD re-imagined promo rollout

If I were the marketing team, I'll do these :

lead : Fortnight (released the week after she announced TTPD on Grammy), to give a glimpse of the album

April :

release TTPD only, by pushing ICDIWBH to Today's Top Hits playlist

- release WAOLOM MV, a promotional single, just like Bejeweled

- release Florida!!! to AAA/Alternative format

- performing on SNL : ICDIWBH and Fortnight/WAOLOM mash-up

- doing a secret mini concert like 1989 on Empire State/Lover in Paris (performing Fortnight, WAOLOM, ICDIWBH, But Daddy I Love Him, The Alchemy, Down Bad) + hinting The Anthology

- the trick on her sleeve to get boost each week : TTPD + 1 The Anthology track each week

- and release the song on streaming platform the week after

May :

- late May, release ICDIWBH MV + to radio get summer momentum

June :

- right on 6th week where she released TTPD + So High School, release it to radio as well as promotional single as well

- So High School replacing Fortnight on Today's Top Hits

July :

- finishing The Anthology releases

- release The Anthology : long pond session with Aaron Dessner on Youtube (Chloe or Sophia or Sam or Marcus, Cassandra, Peter, Robin, The Manuscript) + more TTPD versions with the live performance bonus track

late August :

- Guilty as Sin? being released to radio, replacing So High School

- Guilty as Sin MV wearing Stevie Nick-inspired outfits, hinting rep TV on October

- Guilty as Sin remix with Stevie Nicks

Grammy submission :

AOTY : TTPD

ROTY ICDIWABH

SOTY : Guilty as Sin?

Best Pop Album : TTPD

Best Pop Solo : Guilty as Sin?

Best Pop Duo : Fortnight

That sub is so weird :rip:. I've been reading it the entire day and I just know certain atrlers live on there :bibliahh:. The fact they know things like how many listeners she's lost every day is beyond unhinged, not to mention the amount of misinformation, hypocrisy, and wishful thinking. A lot of the users are teenagers based on the things they post, but I could never imagine dedicating that much energy to something I hate...

Need her to do a TTPD live/acoustic album since so many of the tour renditions absolutely ate up the originals, namely Chloe or Sam and I Hate It Here x The Lakes mashup :jonny4:

TTPD LPSS would eat so hard, especially for the anthology tracks :jonnycat:

I don't particularly prefer the LPSS renditions of folklore over any of the originals, but I loved the little compositional switch-ups and additions they added in many of the songs. Something like that for TTPD would be super cute, especially with how strong her live vocals seem to be currently.

Taylor truly has the most deranged haters of any pop girls by far :rip:

That deeply, profoundly unhinged sub comes up on my feed literally daily even though I literally just browse the main page and don't have an account. :deadbanana2: I honestly think some of the people who post there need help of some kind, like all that hateful energy and for what?

Truthfully, it's just made me listen to Taylor even more lately - and not even out of spite or anything, just like, it's the thing that makes my brain think "oh damn, I haven't listened to TTPD yet today!"
