This album has become my soundtrack for my life...literally her best album imo. I never thought something could top Folklore & Speak Now TV for me but this blasts it out of the water. Guys even on the weekend I cant stop listening to ballads when usually weekends are when I just listen to like uptempos while at the gym or on my daily jogs and stuff. I just love it so damn much

You can't make this up. And this mass derangement will never be clocked because even the people who are supposed to be keeping everyone in check on here are joining in on it. At the end of the day this will remain the biggest AND most discussed album of the year by a large margin and people will have to just cry about it. Taylor will continue being a musician AND a business at the same time who pushes her work because she believes in it. Variants that only a few thousand people will buy is nothing crazy or weird. Everyone needs to get over themselves. Idk what else to say lmao you'll never convince me that Taylor - OR ANY OTHER ARTIST btw - releasing small batches of variants for collectors or chart reasons is a bad thing. Maybe it's just because I have real issues to care about in the real world like most people, but yeah, I will not ever care or condemn musicians using chart tactics which has been going on FOREVER

My issues with the oth is that they can dish it out but can never take it. They'll spend weeks coming for Taylor in the most vile and deranged ways and the moment we say something we're the meany bullies.

I've been banned for the most ridiculous things, including being banned for making a joke about Taylor. I complained in hq about us and Taylor constantly being called Nazis/ White supremacists and they point blank told me they don't care and that they don't follow their own rules, but pick and choose who to punish and what to let slide based on whether they like them/ their fave or not. That's why I don't bother caring about the mods or what they say cause they're a bunch of hypocrites.

Now sis I'm totally fair with this type of stuff so I totally understand wanting to debate and stuff but I've seen some of your posts and they seem rather pointed / angry so if reading the posts in here elevate you to that extent then it isn't worth it is what I'm saying. If you just want to engage in proper debate I think that's totally fair and 99% of this base will totally do that with you in good faith! But if you just want to rile ppl up all while simultaneously riling yourself up in the process then it isn't worth it

It's true we can be prickly about certain things (trust me we go at each others necks on here on the regular ) But idk I just dont want you to stress over it or to seethe and stuff but if you're doing it just for good fun and to shade then it's fair game I guess lol. It's just we are not given a fair chance when the argument immediately gets elevated if that makes sense. Like debates always go from zero to 100 when it comes to taylor and it makes things less fun and more personal.

Some of my friends are tay fans I just like Charli way better so  can't blame a sis for wanting her a #1. Which is something yall claim to not care about right ?  Arts not charts?

But yeah I get it....The Brats are upset The Alpha STOMPED on her I guess  But at the end of the day Charli's record is getting the praise and accolades and stuff so you guys can rest on her laurels in that regard...it's just Taylor said NO to Charli also getting the #1 album and it's ok...not everyone can win in that regard...arts not charts right?

It's pure misogyny. I can't tell you the number of times i've seen female Swifties being called "cringe" and "bad" for having genuine enjoyement of Taylor and her music yet when gay twitter is having even more over the top reactions over their faves they're "slaying" and "enjoying mother". People like that think they're "feminists" because they enjoy female artists but that couldn't be further from the truth, it's like conservatives saying they can't be misogynistic because they love their mothers 

 

There's a blatant double standard in the way Taylor and her fans are treated vs how every other popstar and their fans are treated. A lot of it is because of pure jealousy over the immense success but of course they never want to admit it, they're always pretending they have valid, "moral" reasons to hate her when all she's doing is the same thing EVERY other artist does. She's just more successful at it than their faves and it's driving them crazy.

 

People have unironically decided that misogyny is ok when it comes to Taylor and it's becoming a massive problem. It's gonna end badly at some point.
