DevilsRollTheDice Posted June 9 Posted June 9 What's the landscape this week? Ravenous for another week at number 1
DevilsRollTheDice Posted June 9 Posted June 9 (edited) The album really is doing quite well. For context, here are the only Taylor albums with as many or more weeks at number 1: Fearless: 11 weeks (+4) Red: 7 weeks (=) 1989 (+4) folklore (+1) She's already outdone Midnights (all those weeks at number 2 will haunt me in the Swiftie branded nursing home). I wonder how far she will go. I hope she pulls out tactics for at least 10 weeks. Would give it a decent chance for the longest running number 1 of the year. Edited June 9 by DevilsRollTheDice 2
Feanor Posted June 9 Posted June 9 11 weeks would be ideal, cause that would give her another 10-week #1 album in her 3rd decade and the longest #1 by a female artist this decade. But idk if it's feasible, cause that's a whole month it'll need to stay at #1.
liam13 Posted June 9 Posted June 9 this puta dared to sing crazier as a mashup let's just say that i like her music about 1% less 2
brokee Posted June 9 Posted June 9 The bridge in The Prophecy is one of my fav. the whole song is beautiful and I really like the way she sings "But I howl like a wolf at the moon" 4

That's my only complaint of the song. 1

brokee Posted June 9 Posted June 9 I'm glad this is a double album. there are still songs that I find that have beautiful melodies or beautiful lyrics that didn't click before but later clicked for me, what an album would be crazy if this ended up being my fav Taylor album. literally, listen to this album every single day. 1
Cleanromantic Posted June 9 Posted June 9 The back and forth in the bridge of Florida!!! The manic vocals and the constant escalation I want it to be a single with a witchy music video 1
Klein Posted June 9 Posted June 9 The Albatross -> Chloe -> How Did It End? -> So High School -> I Hate It Here might be the best 5 tracks run in her entire discography. It's 11/10s song after song. 1
Taylor fanboy Posted June 9 Posted June 9 Poets is the first album to spend its first seven weeks at No. 1 since Morgan Wallen's One Thing at a Time led for its first 12 weeks a year ago (March 18-June 3, 2023-dated charts). What's the likelihood of this being beaten?
