Down Bad is an obvious single choice and it seems like Taylor has a very clear vision about it (UFO and alien imaginary etc) I wouldn't be surprised if she already made the MV

Maybe she will make GAS as the third single, I expect there will be a remix with some random feature

It's the only song of the first 10 songs below 100 million streams on Spotify at 96 million, the second lowest out of the first 10 songs is at 128 million. It's also the only song out of the first 10 doing less than 1 million daily, currently in the 900k range, the second lowest is still doing 1.2 million. Only I Can Fix Him and Clara Bow are doing less out of the standard edition tracks. :'(

It SCARES me how detached my taste is from the usual fans because I'm not exaggerating when I say FOTS is top 20 from her entire discography

I have some songs that are the opposite to that. For instance, I really don't like Who's Afraid of Little Old Me.

On the flip side, people seem to give The Bolter dust. I think that song will eventually have a place in my top 5 of her discography.

Wish she released these CD editions as vinyls

I don't care for CDs and I'm sure she could increase her sales a lot by making them available on vinyl instead

To me the whole song is amazing but I hate the way she shouts who's afraid of little old me :toofunny3:

That is the part that is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

The way 90% of this fanbase was THIRSTY for joebless lashings and then pay dust to the song she drags him the hardest, comparing their relationship to a prison and calling him, essentially, boring :rip:

Also, her vocals and the production are crazy good.

That song has grown on me tremendously.

After 6-7 weeks, it is CRYSTAL CLEAR: Guilty as Sin? is the BEST song on the album.

I'm personally very excited to have a bunch of variants and covers of TTPD - I might make a little display with them or something. I get why some people aren't as into it, but to be fair, nobody really has to buy them, and unlike the Midnights special editions, the exclusive tracks on these aren't totally new songs or anything, so I feel like it's not as bad in terms of missing out.

Not to mention that google drive links with the mp3 files will be flying around the internet (including the messenger here on ATRL nnn) within an hour of the first delivery anyway, and then they'll be on YouTube about 10 minutes after that

I think it's the smartest choice at this point and I REALLY HOPE we get visuals this era.

I think GAS could smash later in the summer or early fall.

I'd love if she actually gave this era the singles it deserves since this is some of her best work.

Yeah that's the thing like no one is required to buy them and clearly people will share them and she knows that lol

I do wish she'd release more of an EP though but I know she wants to keep her streaming and it's not a bad strategy, though it is annoying a lot of people at this point.

No need for 6-7 weeks to find out, she was THE ONE since the beginning :loki:

sounds boring and literal given it's what is in the song.

Fortnight was a better video than usual for her directing because she had an interesting vision beyond just what's in the lyrics.

...

2 biggest albums each year in actual US sales:
2023 - Taylor & Taylor; AOTY Winner Midnights
2022 - Taylor & Harry: AOTY Winner Harry's House
(2021 - Adele & Taylor [re-recording]; Adele lost to Harry)
2020 - Taylor & BTS; AOTY Winner Folklore
2019 - Taylor & Billie; AOTY Winner Fall Asleep

I suspect 2024 will be the same as 2019.

Fresh Out The Slammer was my favorite upon first listen. But her best songs are always under appreciated when the album comes out, it reminds me of how everyone ignored dress when it first came out and now people rightfully consider it one of her bests.

I think we need to understand that this album will never be viewed objectively regardless of its quality

The way I clocked the fact that this album will be review bombed since February.
