If on Style she's almost excited about a relationship that will seemingly never find a proper ending because she's a romantic who thinks yearning is somewhat of a badge of honor, then, 10 years later, on Chloe, she's completely worn out by her own what ifs and regrets. This song, in tandem with loml and Peter, is just such a gut punch, especially for people who're slowly growing out of the same mindset (may or may not be myself...). I am usually very lazy when it comes to buying more versions than maybe two, both physical, and that was the case for all the recent releases but she stayed releasing something to buy or am I misremembering Either way, wondering how much damage all the Swifties who hadn't bought the iTunes version of the album before this week are doing right now.
