Magickarp Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Y'all need to stop arguing with that user. WAP is probably the second coming of Edgar Allen Poe to her TTPD is EASILY her best album lyrically. Melodically her weakest though 1 3
Magickarp Posted May 14 Posted May 14 I already stanned Fortnight before, but this just takes it to a whole new level. It's been all replay the last 4 hours, & I fall asleep listening to the original now 2:55 the "I wanna kill him" reverb
wastedpotential Posted May 14 Posted May 14 (edited) I'm continuing the slow process of re-introducing myself to non-TTPD songs and I just re-fathomed Lena. It sounds like a 90s Hallmark Christmas movie set in the city, a true snapshot of a particular cinematic moment in time. It was also really elevated and improved by the slight tweaks in New Testament version, which is difficult to get, not everybody has that. I feel like I just discovered like five new production changes to obsess over (I guess the benefit of listening to nothing but the same 31 songs over and over for almost an entire month). Truly, one of Taylor's most gorgeous instrumentals about such a... not gorgeous person When I exit my wh0re era and settle down, I'm gonna need someone who makes me feel like how I feel when I listen to Lena Is anyone in here interested in getting married to me? I'm financially stable and emotionally desperate for love and am happy to be walked all over if you show me affection Edited May 14 by wastedpotential 6

mael Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Since the album lyrical peak Imagine if she had the GUTS to have each track be produced by a different producer whewww. Oh the variety
MatiRod Posted May 14 Posted May 14 "So High School" is low key one of the best songs on the album I would live for her to do a full 90s alt rock sounding record 10
TROJAN Posted May 14 Posted May 14 This is my husbands ratings for TTPD on the tumblr which song over which template. He says thanK you aIMee wasn't one of the options at all during his selections so it was automatically placed at the bottom but he thinks it would fit at number 25 and all the later songs would be one number down.

At least I'm choosing to believe it It needs to be a late summer/early fall single Doesn't even need to make an MV 2

vale9001 Posted May 14 Posted May 14 (edited) i just speak my truth according to my ears.. it's not like popular opinions of taylor swift stans on twitter (all they know it's not mainstream it's lana del rey or lorde) are laws to me. Honestly i know music cause i listen to any kind of genre and artists so i don't have still act Aaron Dessner is a great producer, let alone a great pop mainstream producer cause i never listened an indie record in my life. Jack Antonoff is a great pop producer and a real producer. This is why he works with Lana del Rey, Springsteen, St. Vincent, Lorde, Florence, Kendrick, the 1975, Paramore, Nick cave, Perfume Genious etc.. Aaron Dessner is a great indie musician, he's not a great producer. This is why he made average albums with Ed Sheeran and Gracie Abrams. Being a talented indie artist and composer and a great producer and especially a pop - rock producers are like literally 2 different jobs. Folklmore is a top quality projects cause Taylor wrote on his already made tracks. Midnights 3AM was already a proof the fact is not a top tier pop producer in pop. You should just accept he can only serve basic piano beautiful piano and very univentive acoustich arrangments, instead of acting like The Albatross, Mary josephine and victoria, the bolter or i hate here are better than what Antonoff did in most tracks on part 1. Only reason these songs are better than what it served for gracie abrams or Sheeran is Taylor is a better melodicist and lyricist than them. Then give me a beautiful piano ballad, it's not like i want at any cost the revolution, but why acting these arrangements are less basic than part 1. Almost everything on part 1 is more unventive. DevilsRollTheDice Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Fortnight back in global top 5. Impressive performance for such competitive charts and the songs sounds like way less of a hit than Anti-Hero. 1
