Guilty As Sin? end era OR: 5. But Daddy I Love Him (sent to country radio) & So High School to pop and HAC/AC (just to promote the anthology too with a physical release push of the album) 2 2

Kyle-x Posted May 13 Posted May 13 A resequencing of TTPD because I cannot sleep Chapter I: The Longing 1. Fortnight 2. Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus 3. Peter 4. I Look In People's Windows 5. Guilty as Sin? A rumination on the "what-ifs?" of a relationship that could-have-been. Longing and yearning for a love that was never actually lost. Evidence of the narrator being trapped in a relationship while coveting another. Provides essential context for the chapters to come. Chapter II: The Disintegration 6. My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys 7. I Hate It Here 8. So Long, London 9. The Prophecy 10. How Did It End? 11. I Can Do It with a Broken Heart The relationship the narrator feels trapped in ends. A range of complicated feelings emerge. The narrator is feeling both devastated and a sense of newfound freedom. Explanations for the actions of the narrator that follow are presented here. Chapter III: The Rebound 12. The Bolter 13. Fresh Out the Slammer 14. Florida!!! 15. imgonnagetyouback 16. Who's Afraid of Little Old Me? 17. But Daddy I Love Him 18. The Alchemy 19. I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can) 20. The Tortured Poets Department The narrator gets right into that getaway car and drives it straight into the deep end with a rekindled flame. Once brought to the light, the relationship is immediately scrutinized by outside influences and causes the narrator lash out. The narrator relates the relationship to being under the influence in many of the songs and the cracks in the facade start to show themselves by the end of the chapter. Chapter IV: The Betrayal 21. Down Bad 22. The Black Dog 23. loml 24. The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived Things have gone up in flames for the narrator in the new relationship. All of the red flags from the previous chapter are now being dissected and put on blast in this chapter. Chapter V: New Beginnings 25. So High School 26. The Albatross A new muse has entered the picture and a potential taste of the things to come on the next record are being teased here. Clara Bow thanK you aIMee Cassandra Robin The Manuscript These songs feel too specifically tied to past lore that I can't really place them in the sequence of events I've laid out here. I could maybe stretch The Manuscript to be the closer but it still feels a bit too tied to the re-recordings and the Swiftie experience to be placed in this world dd. Clara Bow is in my top 3 so I'd never cut her so don't get it twisted. These would be cute bonus tracks. 6
mael Posted May 13 Posted May 13 Lucid dreams like electricity the current flies through ME! and in my fantasies I rise above it And way up there I actually love it 3

I don't think Fortnight is radio poison but it's not as immediate and poppy as Cruel Summer or even Anti-Hero and that's fine. If anything it shows that charts are not her primary concern. I mean probably ? Midnights had 4 singles and according to that insider there's a WAOLOM fmusic video filmed.. i wrapped my mind that I can do it will probably be second single but i could used more upbeat tempo like a remixed radio version for its single release. I wanted down bad and My boy as singles though. 1

And radio hits doesn't have to be only poppy. They already want a Song It's doing great on International radios (and american radios too), very strong on Shazam (so people get interested to It when they caught It) to be scrapped for another kid bopz sound like 2012 Taylor. A Song International nradios will hate and it's everything She shouldn't promote in this phase of her career when she's finally building a certain image in these markets. The Song doesn't have anti Hero updates cause anti Hero was her first radio pop single in 3 years. Instead in the last 18 months She has sent 7 songs on radioz, so of course this doesn't take the immediate update of something after a long radio- career break, but for radio looks like the 3-4th single of an album cause She has sent them 4 pop songs in the last 12 months. See, you acknowledge that it's not as poppy. That was the whole point, could have saved the extra paragraphs (I don't think that the single is doing badly or that it should be replaced, on that I agree with you and I've said as much before in this thread). vale9001 Posted May 13 Posted May 13 The post- wallen Song Is loosing hype faster than almost everyone taught. Already #2 on AM under Kendrick and third day on Spotify is 300K less than fortnight first sunday. At this rate fortnight could still get the biggest debut of the year maybe. 3
Club classic Posted May 13 Posted May 13 Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus and The Albatross are the best songs on the album and I'm praying one of them will be my surprise song 2
EndofASadMovie Posted May 13 Posted May 13 Fortnight isn't that radio friendly nor streaming friendly and that's ok. Why are we acting like saying that is a crime. 3
YR. Posted May 13 Posted May 13 All the paragraphs won't make fortnight a smash btw me and anti-hero laughed at that 1 1

Miss Fortune Posted May 13 Posted May 13 The Anthology doesn't hit as immediately (especially Chloe/Sam + Peter / Robin) but all of them have such wonderful melodies. At this point though, I need a video for I Can Do It With A Broken Heart.
ATRL Moderator feelslikeadream Posted May 13 ATRL Moderator Posted May 13 I know it'll never get a video, but imagine the slayage if there was a Clara Bow video and it went like this: - For first verse/chorus, Taylor cosplays as Clara Bow, on an old film set - For second verse/chorus, Taylor cosplays as Stevie Nicks in '75 (the hair and lips) - Then for the last verse, Olivia Rodrigo is featured, cosplaying as Taylor. It would reflect the song's themes perfectly and could be the way they end their beef (a la Katy in YNTCD) 4

Clara Bow is in my top 3 so I'd never cut her so don't get it twisted. These would be cute bonus tracks. I'll play along.. my new tracklist/combined single version album concept with cuts! This version of the album is only for the crazy girlies who are willing to live in the chaos of Taylor's mind. (would probably not be very commercially viable given the completely psychotic 9 track run in the beginning) Album concept: psychotic artist who needs to write in order to stay "sane", hopeless romantic, roughly chronological (around emotions) 1. I Hate It Here - what can I say. It's a thesis statement of how she moves around the world and why she produces art. 2. Guilty As Sin? - My relationship is jail so I am fantasizing 3. imgonnagetyouback - I'm delusional and bored. I kind of hate you, I kind of love you. 4. The Black Dog - I can't believe you're already over it? F*ck you 5. How Did It End? - all our friends know its over and keep asking me, but I don't know either 6. I Look in People's Windows - I'm still sad and I miss you 7. So Long, London - I'm sad, mad, and ready to move on (LOL not really, but Taylor is again delusional). It's Joever 8. Fresh Out The Slammer - Jail is OVER. I need a rebound. Hey Ratty I'm coming 9. But Daddy I Love Him - Delusional. Amazing. Serve of the century. Fans STFU. 10. Florida!!! - Yeah, this is a rebound, it's a drug. 11. My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys - The guy is a mess and he f*cking sucks but I'm delulu and I like him 12. I Can Fix him (No Really I Can) - I love him so much I'm going to fix his dumb ass. OK... maybe I am delusional and I can't fix him 13. Fortnight - Wow I was really delusional for two weeks, I'm going to write a vibey song to make it seem less intense and more mature than it really was 14. Down Bad - Ok this fling is ending. Taylor being exceptionally dramatic. Ratty was an alien who gave me extraterrestrial feelings only to put me down back to Earth. 15. The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived - Oh Ratty you are DEAD to me!! 16. The Tortured Poets Department - Ratty, after hearing ^ no one's ever going to touch you like ME! Nobody, No f*cking body... nanananana i'm teasing you. 17. loml - f*ck me I'm SO SAD.... 18. I Can Do It With a Broken Heart - but I'm a professional gdi, and a MPG shows up 19. The Prophecy - F*ck I'm never finding love. I'm gifted with all this artistry/success, but absolutely f*cked in life. 20. Who's Afraid of Little Old Me - I'm so sad that I'm angry. F*ck the GP, F*ck the music industry, F*ck Scoot Braun/Scott Borchetta. You know what, y'all should be scared of me. 21. The Albatross - Everyone and all the men think I'm out to get them. But Its only when you hurt me that I come for your neck like I did to Ratty, so just be nice to me. 22. Clara Bow - Profound!! being a woman in the industry is f*cking exhausting. Cuts: 1. The Alchemy - Girlies, we have no room in this album to just have a little "love" song. Although I suppose this is again more of a delulu love song than really anything else. 2. Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus - Good lore building and super devastating but not sure it is needed in this track list. 3. So High School - again, I don't need moments of such pure joy in my psychotic version of the album 4. thanK you aIMee - well... it's a song 5. Cassandra - A tiny bit too vague of a song, although quite profound. I somewhat prefer Who's Afraid of Little Old Me. I dislike the song title 6. Peter - I can see why some people like this, but not for me. 7. The Bolter - Idk she's just not the girl some of you think she is! 8. Robin - Why was this made? 9. The Manuscript - meh.. chiliam Posted May 13 Posted May 13 Is it me or The Anthony track titles are giving interludes. Like on the release day, when she annouce it and i broke my heels running to Spotify and read those song names. And i was like is half of those are interlude or spoken word poems. Like theres no way she can just drop 15 songs like that. All the songs with name title must be interludes. And till this day when i read those names, its still the same, they are so messy and simple compare to the dramatic names in the original album.
