OMG yess. I saw that song used in a this Twitter post and was GAGGED. Max Martin you will always be famous. Style and WD are the most offensive things I've ever heard.

That One hit wonder shababoozey or what ever his name is really made a story last week "to bring Taylor down from #1", for Taylor being #1 anyways and then Kendrick came for him and then the new country Song by post.

He really played with tayvoodo and now not even his One hit will wonder

I said 3 different points.

Let's look at the other 2:

Set closer Karma, Karma was a single

Set closer Broken Heart, Broken Heart as a single perhaps

She gives Down Bad time to itself for 1 minute on the tour.

Karma 5 minutes

Broken Heart 5 minutes

I think she may spend more time doing setup for Broken Heart than actually singing Down Bad.

I think 5 minutes of down bad were boring in the context of the set when fortnight It's already there and She tried to make more songs possible, so this could be the reason It's shorter. But the fact She put It anyways means something I guess.

Down bad It's doing very good to on Spotify, especially cause It's definitely less pushed by playlists.

I think a video of down bad is already made (with the aliens concept She used in the tour), then yeah they could change plans and making It the third single instead of the second.

While she doesn't need to be a singles artist at all, I do wish we'd get more of a visual era. I really miss the iconic videos we used to get, and it's not like she lacks the budget now or anything.

TTPD is SO rife for visuals!!!

That Style remix sounds awful what are you guys seeing :rip:

I want her to shake up producers as much as anyone else but Max Martin can stay out of it. He hasn't delivered anything genuinely exciting since Blinding Lights.

Watered down Body Talk? It's cute but I'm good if that's the best he can give Taylor in 2024.

Here's a better example of songs that actually complement each other:

I think So High School could be a really good US single at the very least.

Are we doing an album rate or not?

Fortnight is flopping in pop radio :rip: , they can either just let it linger/let it stagnate for a few more weeks similar to cardigan/willow, or mega "push" it up in a week or 2 then let it drop like a rock and move on to the next single aka ICDIWASMASH

TOTC predicting Broken Heart for the Hot 100 at:

#15 week 3

#14 week 4.

Midnight Rain was in the 30s.

Lavender Haze was in the 20s. Its total chart run had 3 weeks in the top 15.

besides cruel/anti, Republic extended runs in the top 15:

karma 13

me! 9

you need to calm down 8

is it over now 6

I know it's a beautiful song but I skip for But Daddy I love him hahaha. I can't wait to belt out the chorus to daddy I love him. A potential cruel summer for TTPD.

Save Max Martin's boring 2024 beats for those who can't write their own albums. That was....bad.

saying this as if TTPD isn't the most sleep inducing album of the year is beyond laughable

No, it's not. Taylor songs (and pretty much all big-debut songs barring the absolute biggest of smashes) have a slowdown as they enter the top 10 as PDs wait for callout scores and audience responses. It happened pretty much just like this for Anti-Hero, and that turned out fine. Fortnight already has double the number of spins that cardigan and willow had when they peaked on pop radio, so using them as a comparison is disingenuous. On top of that, Fortnight has had particularly shitty updates yesterday and today (and probably all week) because Post Malone just released his high-impact lead single. IHSH's cannibalistic increases will not last too much longer. There is zero reason to be worried about its position on pop unless the bullet goes negative and stays there, and we've got a long way to go before that's a realistic concern. Things will balance out and the growth rate will slow, but barring a super negative callout response (that doesn't seem to be likely given the initial numbers), this is far from dead on pop radio.

Fresh Out The Slammer is probably my biggest grower since release. It's one of my favourites now

literally listening to it right now as we speak after kind of having ignored it for weeks lol! It's so beautiful and her vocal delivery on it is really pleasant
