It sounds more like a Godrence song than a Taylor song (and like her more 'divisive' recent material as well) so this unfortunately goes in the "I'm disappointed but not surprised" category for me

The girls that get it get it…

:clack:

Wait... so first people complained there wasn't enough Lana but now they're complaining there's too much Florence? This fanbase will NEVER be happy :rip:

Anthology now has only 2 songs in the top 200 of spotify and out of the top 150 :duca:

And the most streamed is a Jack track :bibliahh:

Jack really saves us from her first panned album and also a commercial failure. From a swifties exodus like for the dua stans :duca:

Changes are interesting. I feel like the tour was downgraded in every way and the new flow makes less logical sense, but TTPD setlist was so good it sorta atoned for all sins.

Def gonna try to snatch another ticket now.

See I feel the opposite, I think this flows a whole lot better than the original setlist. Folklore was definitely the bathroom break era and works better combining the two sisters, less dead time

'Tis The Damn Season…we really lost a sister there. I remember watching the first live stream and being so shocked and elated when that guitar came in :chick3:

Good thing I saw it live four times

Yes!!!!!! Ugh, great album. Not her best, not her worst, but definitely very high in her discography.

And I'll forever be in love with Fortnight, that might just be my fave.

But other than that one, my faves are GaS, Shopie and the Gang, Florida, My Boy, Down Bad, So Long London, Peter, How did it End..... Such a great album.

Just wish it was shorter and had better production. At some point it feels very flat. Specially the 2nd album. Aaron really failed us with this album. Everything he did is flatter than the flat earth.

We have loud and closeted Anthology haters?

Are you NOT embarassed?

Even though I criticized Jack a lot in the past, he basically saved this album. Anything slightly interesting was produced by him, except a couple of tracks where you can see Aaron was inspired a little bit.

It's been almost a whole month and FloriGod!!! is still the best song on the album. Crossing my fingers for a live performance of this song with tje Queen Mother Florence on at least one of the London shows :jonny5:

TTPD >>>> Anthology, overall.

It is just way more interesting.  Anthology does have some amazing tunes though (and some deletions)

Interest is subjective anyway, the technical musicality and poetic lyricism exhbited on The Anthology is unarguably above TTPD.

Anyway, let's not make it a new "war".

I was up way too late going through the Chats & Reacts lovers' song ranker. I did not expect the new songs to be already added which made it hard because the songs are too new to rank IMO. Also it took 1530 selections to get a final ranking, and I still feel some album songs got weirdly grouped together. So I might manually scrub a few final tweaks. I know if I posted it here the girls would NOT be happy.

my TTPD set ppredictions, let's see how much is gonna be true

- Fortnight is 100% there
- ICDIWABH is 100% there
- (Title Track, My Boy, Down Bad) - 2 of these are gonna make it to the set
- The Smallest Man bridge perfomance
- But Daddy I Love Him might be there
- No Anthology songs on the permanent setlist
- If piano is on stage, she's performing loml

Other songs I might predict to be there also, ranked by possibility from Really might be included to Probably not but I hope so:
Clara Bow
So Long, London
Guilty As Sin?
The Alchemy
Who's Afraid Of Lil Old Me?

Let's see how accurate I am :WAP:

How does it feel you only got 1 fully wrong

seeing how amazing the WAOLOM performance was, I believe she would have killed " my boy only breaks his favourite toys" on stage.

Jack stans always unintentionally prove they're about the charts & not the arts :fan:
