JDC Posted May 4 Posted May 4 The Anthology is really THAT GIRL TSMWEL is a career highlight HDIE? is one of her saddest and best crafted songs ever The Black Dog chorus THE PROPHECY I keep falling in love with each track, only skips are I Can Fix Him, Cassandra and Robin 4
enchanted0 Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Even though I don't even listen to some tracks now (My Toys, Florida, loml(yeah I know), Smallest Man) still the album is soooo good it's really delicate, sublime and pretty..well I mean instrumental and melodies. Obsessed Fresh Out the Slammer, Guilty As Sin, So Long London, The Alchemy, Clara Bow + love love love Daddy I Love Him, Down Bad, and I CAN FIX HIM (it's so good!) Well for the anthology.... no explanation needed. How Did It End, The Prophecy, and Look in People's Windows are her all time career high. Currently obsessed with Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus and imgdkgngdback too. Genuinely I don't ask her anything more for this year...very fulfilled with this album. 4
Maroon legacy Posted May 4 Posted May 4 When I want pop songs, I listen to TTPD. When I want more evermorish songs, I listen to Anthology This double album is perfect. She's a genius 1
cruelhprince Posted May 4 Posted May 4 this hoe better add at least 7 songs from the album to the setlist to make up for the lack of promo
Maroon legacy Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Both times when Midnights 3am and The Anthology came out, there were people who has praised Aaron and were saying that 2nd part of the album is better. I don't agree, but I think it's really great that people can love songs from her new projects, even if they didn't really enjoyed standart album

LostInStereo100 Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Nobody's gonna wanna talk about it but CS is still too strong TTPD probably could have been released later. CS is still getting massive streams and massive radio play. It's still 10 spots higher than fortnight on US radio alone for example hopefully eras tour will boost the new music too but CS boosts will be massive obviously
KarmaCat Posted May 4 Posted May 4 It's crazy how Philippines is not latching on the album, i expected better on THE Taylor nation tbh
kayliah Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Its not her best album but its ok I can vibe with it. It grew on me but thats because i listened to it multiple times cuz i'm a massive swiftie. A Fearless OG baby.

It's a push and pull / give and take tbh. She betrayed them
TROPICUM Posted May 4 Posted May 4 i need to hear her perform I Hate It Here live at least once... actually TTPD can be ignored I need her to perform the opusology FULL 1
Kyle-x Posted May 4 Posted May 4 18 minutes ago, KarmaCat said: It's crazy how Philippines is not latching on the album, i expected better on THE Taylor nation tbh At least she got a #1 there this time with Fortnight, 1989TV has no #1 single. Although it's kind of her fault since the focus track rollout was messy after ****! was dropped for IION with no music video, Style ended up the highest charting song at #2 on the official chart
Kyle-x Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Fortnight #1 Hong Kong #1 India #1 Malaysia #1 Philippines #1 Singapore #1 UAE #2 Middle East/North Africa #2 Taiwan #3 Saudi Arabia #5 Indonesia It's nice there are way more charts outside of Europe these days
Klein Posted May 4 Posted May 4 8 minutes ago, Michael196 said: @Klein Of all the songs she could remove... Watch Cruel Summer be next on the chopping list at this point.
Gladiator Posted May 4 Posted May 4 The way I know almost all the lyrics to every song,... except Fortnight, still.

Maroon legacy Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I still don't really understand why MBOBHFT is on the album, it's not fitting sonically at all and killing the vibe of the album, even though the song itself is a very good bop

makeawish Posted May 4 Posted May 4 is it bad that i haven't really listened to the anthology yet (maybe once)? just obsessively playing the main album over and again and don't really want to dilute that, while keeping a secret extra taylor album for a rainy day 1
omrimayo Posted May 4 Posted May 4 So the merch track arrived to Paris, and it looks the same (I mean the track, the posters on yet and all, I don't know what's inside...) But maybe we're all tripping and she won't do TTPD on tour and no new merch at all.
