PoisonedIvy Posted May 2 Posted May 2 (edited) this reactor (some of you know him) has 33,000+ paid members. I pay $5, he has a couple different tiers but that's the average. That means he makes about 195K a month before any taxes $2 MILLION a year! Let me get into reacting, tf Edited May 2 by PoisonedIvy 7

The Prophecy I hate it here I look through people`s window Not 3 of my top 5 being "the loneliness trinity." Feel like the other two—Albatross and Chloe et al—can fit in the loneliness squad as well. 1 1

"Chloe et al." never fails to make me laugh… I'm working on my masters thesis these days so it's like a constant reminder
PoisonedIvy Posted May 2 Posted May 2 (edited) I noticed Taylor is really good at "stopping time" with her songs. It's hard to explain but, The Alcott, The Alchemy, So It Goes, and The Moment I Knew are all good examples. When you listen to them.. the production makes you FEEL like you're witnessing what's happening right in front of you, but in slow motion. It's a really unique aspect of her music that I'm only just starting to pick up on. It's something about the slow percussion with the excessive reverb I think. But idk the technical effects that give me that sensation. Edited May 2 by PoisonedIvy 7

Achilles. Posted May 2 Posted May 2 "I Hate It Here" just became my first song from the album and first song in 2024 to hit 100 plays. Can I be chairman of the Maladaptive Daydreamers Department? 4 1
PoisonedIvy Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Just now, mael said: Does he post risqué **** on there? Cause what the hell? No, I promise you he just reacts to music But he's THE most active music reactor of them all. He ALWAYS does new music Friday, then an album on a Saturday (a new one if a big artist drops or random requested throwbacks otherwise), then charity streams where he spins a wheel of "small" artists his viewers request. So he definitely hustles more than the ones that post once or twice a week at best

PoisonedIvy Posted May 2 Posted May 2 With our.. "eras" being so short these days, I must say the anticipation that builds in the lead up to an album is almost more fun than anything else about the era. I miss the 10 days before TTPD

I miss the 10 days before TTPD It's probably because her personal life changed so much since she wrote this album. It's pretty clear the era is already over. I don't expect a second single. 1
folkloreking Posted May 2 Posted May 2 TS12 is looking to be the next 1989 for sure, mostly euphoric anthems but pop-rock. It'll likely get a full era, especially if it'll come after the TVs are done. I'm so seated. 4
